Hi. Is there really any good in using scripts that are more advanced then just telling your ppl in party to attack seen enemies? Or you d better control everything yourself? It can be quite messy with 5+ characters in party, you can forget about 1 of them easily and when you tell someone to cast a long spell and his concentration is broken, there is no autopause on this event and you can forget about this guy too. All this can be hard to overcome with massive damage done to all your party members and you can get lost easily.

What can you tell me about mages using spellcasting scripts in aprty? Which scripts do you like?

The only kind of script with any kind of appeal to me is what SCS (2) offers, which is basic duties, like prebuffing + ranged attacks when ranged weapon available.
Your controlling your team members should be vastly superior to most AI opponents, and even stronger when compared to simple scripts. (Party AI would have to realistically account for a lot more possibilities than enemy AI. While stat drain, level drain etc are theoretically at your disposal, a less than perfect reaction to those wouldn't seem very unrealistic. If your party however reacts stupidly to the same effects, matters would quickly turn disastrous.)
No, the game does not autopause on misspelling, but since my game very rarely runs for a full 6 seconds straight during a battle, it's just as well (actually oftentimes the autopause means that I accidentally unpause the game again in critical moments).

But there is a verbal remark along the lines of: "###, I've lost my spell!"
It's easy to overlook in the midst of a tough battle, but it's still there. Also you could see that the glow of spell casting has disappeared from the NPC's hands.
