Shianni is interesting (There is so much to explore in her personality.), and she would be an ideal companion. A cameo appearance would not do her character enough justice, for her role was such in DAO.

I'd say Alistair, but that would mean he didn't go off into the sunset with my Warden, and it'd drive me crazy.

I feel well-satisfied with who is returning for Dragon Age 2.
Oh, it'd also be cool to see Teagan and Jowan again, but oh well. I'm certainly not complaining.

One? I can't pick just one, sadly. I'd love to see Jowan, Cullen, Sgt. Kylon, Sigrun, Varel and Nathaniel Howe again. As for in my party, I'd get a kick out of having Cullen and Jowan alongside my fem!Hawke blood mage and Anders. Two blood mages, a healer mage, and a crazy templar... nothing could possibly go wrong with that mix!

From Origins, I'm with Big M and would like to pluck either Shale or Sten to make a return. I'm terribly fond of Leliana and Wynne as well, but the former, I think, should be contained to the Warden's story, and Wynne would likely have passed away inbetween the two games, much as it pains me to say it.

Absolutely Shale. One of my favorite characters. I would have also loved to see more of Gorim, even though he wasn't a "main" party member.
