Pretty sweet.  I could see something like this as the final product.

Nah. Thats too good for the box art of Mass Effect. I mean, did you see the first two?

Real nice job by the artist. A++

I like it, but it says nothing about the game. Ruined buildings and a shadowy guy. Maybe add Normandy in the background and a Turian somewhere behind the human, and that would be good.

Please, no. It's the same beaten to death tired FPS cover art. Yes, the one on every single FPS game cover: Why Modern War FPS Games All Look the Same

It reminds me of Resistance's cover just a little bit too much. There's not much there that screams Mass Effect to be honest.

Wow, that is good.

Much better than the default ME1 and 2 boxart.

Much better than ME1 and ME2's boxart. Its eye catching and fits the theme that mass effect 3 will be running in.

Implies the entire game is about Earth, will throw off any on the fence players right off the bat. It also misses the scale of ME entirely, it's not a game about rubble or gritty tones afterall.

I personally don't get all the hate about ME1/2's Boxart, I mean those were made by people whose job it is to know what will catch your eyes on a store shelf and considering all the grey that games have now, I don't think more will do the trick.

Seen it before. It's nice, but I'd prefer something with epic explosions and space ship battles on the front.

But I think that's waaaay better then ME2's crap boxart. That said, the original ME2 boxart they were going to use is actually my favourite boxart of the two games so far, and is nearly as good as that one.

I like ME1's cover the most. ME2's was terrible in my opinion, but then again it wasn't designed to attract those that would get the game anyway.

Loved the CE cover for ME2 though. That was awesome. Made me thirsty.

Nicely done, but doesn't fit with ME IMO.

Don't like it that much. Reasons:

- Shep's mid-walk pose on the front doesn't look good;

- It implies it's all about Earth;

- According to the back cover the game has multiplayer, which kind of terrifies me.

It has multiplayer and 2-4 player Co-Op.

Also the warning sign "If you have epilepsy or seizures..."

Anyway art is great.

Also direct link to high quality image.

It's God of War III's cover modded with ME3 artwork.

It's nice as fan art, but it doesn't have that ME mood in it.

Blue and Orange Color Harmony: Golly because I haven't seen that on just about every other game box art that come out in the last 3 years.

Lone solider standing in the among destruction and chaos: Because that's not every shooter cover ever.

decent execution, horrible concept.

Neither does the official ME2 box-art, if you ask me.

I think theres enough ME2 stuff in there. Grunt is 100% ME material. So is Shepard.

Actually, Adugan, this is the official ME2 boxart:

It's hardly atmospheric, in my opinion. I think the CE edition box-art is much more compelling.

^As far as I care they can put white paper as cover and write "Mass Effect 3 by EA/Bioware" and I would still buy.
