Well I haven't seen much of the game, but watching the demo and seeing Isabella made me want to smack my palm into my face.

Two things:

1) As a previous poster stated you shouldn't base your fragil case on that
one instance. In doing so you are no better than fox news with mass
effect.

2) It is in Isabella's nature to be hypersexualized., this was even established in Orgins. To furthure pick apart your case I point to Merrill, Aveline, and Bethany. Aveline is the daughter of a knight and seems to have the deminor of one. Haven't had the chance to see more of Merrill outside of origins but in orgins she was a scholorly type willing to go the extra mile for her clan and for knowledge. Finally Bethany is for all intensive purposes your average woman who can throw fire.

In closing I must again point out another case of a form user jumping the gun. Acting on spoty information is how wars get started you know.

So basically instead of enjoying a great story, a great adventure, deep characters, complex  plot twists and such...you think a guy would play the game just because he saw some boobs in a screenshot?

Actually what bothered me most in the first game was how a lot of people wore full plate armour like it was everyday clothing. That seemed a lot more stupid to me then what Isabella is sporting. The way I see it Bioware is adding something for everyone.

Actually, i dont care because i dont see any issue with females like her. I dont see it as over sexualization, as exploitive, or anything else negative. I see it as confidence, as a positive thing.

Then again, i come from a long line of curvy women with big busts. Taught to accept this fact, to love ourselves, and accentuate our curves whenever possible. So all of this hullaballo is just...stupid to me.

Anyway, if you have such a problem with this that you cant concentrate on anything else, maybe that's your problem and speaks about you? The people i know that complain the most about something they see are often the biggest culprits of said immaturity on sex.

What utter drivel--she has to fight off rape attempts? Did you see her in that tavern? She has nothing to fear. Maybe that's why she dresses like that. To be flashy--"Look all you want boys, but you'll lose a hand if you touch". A way of showing off assets she's proud of, and being threatening at the same time.

OP wants a game to replace real life. Sadly, real life is boring and mostly filled with monotony. Why would you want more of it? Games are by design over the top, or at least off center, because then we can play around with the unusual and exotic. Thus, the women are more beautiful, the cities more fantastic, and the story the of the world turns around our character, even if it is just for a little while.



So get over it, OP. Go outside for a bit, relax. No one wants to play boring and average.

No, they didn't...really? I'm not watching those because it wasn't helping me convince myself to try the game. I almost never play females in video games because they look and move so ridiculously, so I was thrilled when my female Cousland walked like a fighter. I thought she minced a little when she ran, most of the time, but I could live with it since she wasn't swinging her butt all over the place. If they changed that, it's another disappointment.

See finally the voices or reason are entering these conversations! I personaly want to play Valkyries...thats what I like...they made Lady Hawke exactly the opposite...shes so ridiculisly feminine now...I can't  take anything about her seriously. Her voice is far too innocent sounding her idle motions make her look like a schoolgirl on a playground.

Tis rather arrogant to go around claiming your opinion as the VOICE OF REASON. I personally don't mind current LadyHawke given what a disaster femShepard was in ME2 sitting around awkwardly with a male rig.

See...this is the difference betwen normal people and guys who have a couple of issues. I for one never thought that Midanda's pants are inside her ass or that Subject Zero wears almost nothing...I was too busy blasting Geth and Colectors as it was probably intended.

Tell me something, do you really envision developers sitting arround their brainstorming table and saying "Hey you know what, we're like...100 copies short from platinum, we should really up the boobs slider for that extra fan-base" ? Not dont get me wrong. Understood and I would agree in case this should be a realistic-Medieval-RPG , but this Isn't simply one.
