So I don't see any reason for concern

You don't seem to know Isabela at all.Fymth wrote...

She is a very confident/strong pirate who will use anything and everything to get the upperhand in a battle
And using her body to distract men in battle is a great way to do just that

back on point . . .
Anyway I think you'll find men are just as overly sexualised, Isabela is a strong character and she chooses to use her sexuality/femininity as a weapon as well it's no different to other strong female protaganists (even Morrigan does it).

Sure.. as soon as the male characters and heroes of games are no longer 0% body fat, ultra-ripped body builders with the body of a Greek god.
A chubby Italian plumber with a mustache named Mario says hello. It's not like he's part of one of the biggest franchises in gaming history or anything.
For those that think games are sexist against men or sexualize men in the same capacity as women, then I will point to this article that saves me from typing up my own response.

Neither of you do. You didn't even play DA2 because it's not out yet.. And No, in Origins you only had the option to have a threesome or foursome with her, and get trained on a spec. That isn't really "knowing" a person is it?Maria Caliban wrote...

I have no problems with the cleavage thing but um, She's a pirate? What do you expect her to dress in mini skirts?

Well I haven't seen much of the game, but watching the demo and seeing Isabella made me want to smack my palm into my face.
Why, because shes well endowed?
Maybe if you stopped paying so much attention to her ****** it wouldnt be an issue.

Look on the bright side - at least the female protagonists in DA2 or Mass Effect are not overly sexualized. In ME2 femShep even got to be contextually attractive (Kasumi mission). With the way the gamesindustry thinks these days, we should be thankful for small favors.
Femshep is too butch. She has a gigantic dong hidden underneath that armour.
Watching her sit down with her legs spread and her shoulders slouched over like a male while wearing the DLC dress is hilarious and awful.

Because only in a horny 14 year old's imagination are women sexualized and have big breasts and no pants. LOLA_y0ner_ wrote...
My god, I want to feel like I'm immersed in a realistic, believable world. Not stuck in some horny 14 year old's imagination.
Actually, the more I think about this thread of yours, the more absurd it seems. There's a billion rebuttals to your argument that come to mind, not the least of which is: "Who cares" (besides society's usual puritan prudes). There's also the matter of your very strange definition of sexuality, and what constitutes a "believable world" according to you. Are there any actual nude scenes in DA2? Are there any topless scenes?
I'm also filled with disgust and anger when I read this thread of yours. it's people like you that keep Gaming companies and movie producers walking on eggshells with their artistic visions, constantly having to worry that they might offend weak people.
