No that outfit is stupid to wear, even if you want to use your body as an advantage, it gets in the way but lets not talk about that.

I agree.  she should take off that outfit of hers.

Why, because shes well endowed?

Maybe if you stopped paying so much attention to her ****** it wouldnt be an issue.

^ Best reply EVER

It is difficult though given the fact she was designed for that very reason, not that I'm complaining, no sireee.

Don't forget the rock armor, that was the sexiest thing in the entire video.

Isabella has nice boobsImage IPB(do not replace the b with a t, I'm warning you people!)

Fixed!  Image IPB

Anyways, is the OP actually considering DA2 oversexualised because of just one character?  Wow!  I'd hate to see what he'd think of games with women dressed more skimpily than Isabella and that there are more of them in the game. Image IPB

I think there is an easy work around for this, any woman who is wearing suggestive or vaguely attractive clothing should send me pictures or videos so that I may say whether that mode of dress is appropriate for their engagement.

I would not even ask for payment for this service due to my altruistic nature just some high energy drinks and plenty of moisturiser.

Seriously the female form is beautiful, artists have been inspired by it since time began and we shouldn't look to deny a woman the right to feel beautiful and comfortable. Also isn't the real value of a person reflected in their personality and character not the pieces of material they choose to wear or not wear.

My god, I want to feel like I'm immersed in a realistic, believable world. Not stuck in some horny 14 year old's imagination.

I can't belive that! You can't be serious, why should anybody complain about something like that?
Who would like to have an ugly girl or boyfriend? Sure not my Dragon Age or Mass Effect Characters...

If there's one thing I find more annoying than people claiming that anything with a sexual edge is outrageous, it's people claiming that a sexual edge can't possibly be problematic.

Yes. Isabella is a sexual character. But there are plenty of women that we've seen in DA2 that aren't... Merrill, Aveline, Meredith, and Cassandra, to name a few. Even femHawke seems to be fully covered, unless you have a problem with bare arms.

Isabela's the only one with an outfit like that. Given that, if it's in character & not entirely ridiculous, it's fine, imo.

As long as equality is shown and we female players are given sexy male characters (which was the case with Origins and I assume will be the same with DAII) I don't really care if the women are sexualised! ;-)

Direct this to the Mass Effect forums please.

Isabella is a very sexual being, so it would be natural for her to look seductive, the only problem i have is her cup size, they are a little too big for my taste which i find distracting, but you know.. It could be worse, there is a little JRPG over it but i don't think that they are going to get more than a couple of frowns, developers just hae to realize that if they oversexualize a character(which i don't think they have) then they risk alienating a huge part of players(mainly the female gamers)

I'm completely fine with Isabela's look, however seeing as it isn't the norm amongst the other female characters shown so far I do hope it gets referenced in the game, either in converstaion like Miranda got about her uniform or maybe just a couple of male npc's looking down for just a tad too long during conversations.

While I certainly think the video games industry as a whole has issues with how female characters are presented, I'm not really seeing it with Dragon Age. DA2 seems to have a variety of different female characters. I think Isabela's outfit suits her character just fine, and Bethany's is maybe a little on the gratuitous fanservice side, but Aveline, Merrill and FemHawke don't strike me as especially sexualised.

He's probably complaining about Isabela and Betheny.

Uh, I don't know what to tell you except...Sorry? It's just a part of life I guess, most movies have famous good-looking actors on screen, why would videogames be any different? (Excluding certain games of course).

I have never seen a quality movie where a beautiful woman is as equally dressed as Isabella.

Also if you think of it in terms of her character, do you really think some cold-hearted pirate killer woman is really wearing a mini-skirt that just barely covers her rear and has her double-D's hanging out of her shirt?

I'll admit its not as bad as ME2 with Jack travelling through outer space with just a plastic mask and a bra on.

Why must every male on the internet be such a prudish coward that is terrified of women depicted in anything but a burqa?

Isn't hyperbole great?

One woman in DA2 is shown as a sexual creature. It is a part of her character.

Get over it.

Every male? I don't think we're using the same internet buddy,

Yoner is definetly in the minority with this.

I was mocking the title of the thread with an equally exaggerated (and untrue) statement...

Let anyone look as they want, as long as they are dignified or the appearance serves a purpose in the plot.
