Here is the fix for people with the witch hunt bugs on ps3:
.Delete your dragon age game utility files ( not your saves these will be preserved)
.Disable the internet on your ps3.
.Put in DA:O and start it and accept to download the game files.
.Exit the game
.Enable the internet on your ps3.
.Go to playstation store Download witch hunt (and all the others DLC you own.)
.Now Install Witch hunt (and all the DLC you own.)
.After completing downloading and installing all the DLC start Dragon age:origins.
.It will now say that there is a new patch 1.06 and that you need to download it in order to play, do this .(I dont know exactly what it says)
.Have fun with playing

~ The problem with the patch was that it was in most occasions when people were having troubles with it that it was installed before with hunt, so dragon age did indeed got patched but since you didnt have witch hunt these files didn't got patched which leads to playing dragon age 1.06 with the unpatched version of Witch hunt.

Comment with questions and if it doesnt work I will try to find another personal solution for you ;)

(I have to apologize for my bad English but I hope this post is understandable enough for people with Witch hunt problems to fix)

This might explain why no Witch Hunt data was listed in my save when I imported it to DA2. I don't mind playing again, but I want to make sure my rogue and mage playthroughs have that data. Interestingly when I tried the remove everything and then reinstall everything trick the only patch I get is 1.01, nothing about 1.06. I reload, it won't patch any further. I have the ultimate edition.

Edited to add - Loading that Witch Hunt save loads me directly to credits. It's the only save I have XD

I did all this and it STILL wouldn't autosave. So I went to the game options and enabled the 'save automatically' option, which I had disabled before. I then loaded my last save again, went through the final conversation with Morrigan, and IT WORKED! Autosave! Hooray!
