Jennifer Hale is a good VA but why she's considered the be-all end-all I'll never know.

It sounds...boring.

That said rather boring than irritating.
Edit: I thought it was nice at first but now that I keep listening to it it founds a bit...eh. I think its the accent that bugs me. I wanted to kick Anora in the throat because of her voice *and everyone she VA'd including Isabella*. So...it sounding similar isn't a good sign. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

I like it, it's not what you'd usually expect in the role. I hate stereotypical voices.

I like Lady Hawke's voice as well! I was expecting another femShep-like voice (and there's nothing wrong with that) considering the hero role, but I was pleasantly surprised. So far, I like both Hawkes' VAs.

Sbarge doesn't voice both the male player characters for BioWare's two currently running IPs.

I am not saying Hale is incapable, just that there's no real reason to use her when she's also femShep right now.

Jennifer Hale can do wide range of voice acting, not to mention she is probably one of the best VA.

It not rare for the same VA to voice major character in two different Bioware games(i.e.Raphael Sbarge.)

Why not use her when she is doing it so well?

That said, I am okay with LadyHawke's voice, just disappoint because its not Jennifer Hale.

Maybe we should play the actual game first before we judge, or wait for
the demo at least. Goodness gracious! You Hale fans are ridiculous. I

Indeed.  I'm really glad it's not Jennifer Hale, as I've gotten more than my fill of her talking-to-a-puppy delivery of Paragon lines and her crazed psychopath delivery of Renegade lines in Mass Effect 2.  Not to mention the less said about her pervy, exploitative harassment of Jacob the better.

The more I listen, the more I'm warming up to her voice. It helped not to look at the screen. I can't associate that voice with the default hawke, her unkept hair specifically. >_>
