It isn't really what I expected.
But I'm pleased for Lucy, and at this point, I'm gratified to learn Female Hawke even exists...
Well, I try to not to assume pre confirmation. Then I don't get disappointed!
I mean, I just don't ever think of things seriously before their look/voice/whatever is confirmed or revealed.
I am tired this doesn't make sense.

I know, Lucy. I know. Let it all out. This is a religious experience for some of us.

Because as it stands now, her voice carries very little weight.

I can see how some people wouldn't like it, though. But I do.

I doubt I'll ever play a female Hawke, but if I do, I hope the tone of her voice changes throughout the game to reflect increased experience and maturity.

Mike Laidlaw was more expressive and interesting to listen to than any of the characters that were shown yesterday.

To everyone who is not impressed with the lady Hawke's very feminine, gentle voice, has anyone considered the possibility that this was intentional? Who's to say her voice may change? The game does span 10 years after all, they might have left room for it to develop into a slightly rougher, more mature version at the end. Would be a nice touch
This would be amazing actually.

Speaking as a British person, no, she does not.
She's far too eloquent.

I quite like this voice and the default look, and it's nice that she doesn't sound like "femHawke the Barbarian". It seems like a great voice for a ruler, rather then just a though fighter.
I agree with this. Marian has a beautiful voice, a voice that is as soft and feminine as Wynne, Cauthrien or Anora's voice. Yet Marian doesn't sound quite as authoritative or in command as they do. Her facial expressions are off compared to her tone of voice too.

So. According to you, all fighters have to sound lower class and unrefined?

A documentary on evangelicals in America called Jesus Camp. It's very good.
And no, the raptor head is shooped in. Quite well, I might add.

Being British myself, I can quite confidently say that she is in fact British sounding... luckily.

I really hope not! Although, I expect I'll play her as a bit dishonest, so elements will still be there. Just very little self-centredness.
