I kinda don't understand the obsession with Two Steps From Hell.. I mean they're epic, but most of their music sounds pretty generic. Any one song just blends into the rest of their stuff and it all ends up sounding the same imo.



I'd prefer something from Bear McCreary, Johnny Greenwood, or Clint Mansell. Maybe some Max Richter... This is as a composer for the soundtrack, not necessarily a theme for a single character, but nonetheless I still don't understand the infatuation with two steps.. To each's own I suppose *shrug*

I think I would have to go with First Vision from the OST of the Escaflowne movie. Some parts might not fit so well, but it's a good piece none the less.
