I like the default face. The DA team put a lot of thought into it, but I'm a sucker for CC. So unless I just can't get a right look, I'll be creating my own.

Not I. The only default appearance I ever stuck with was m!Shepard. Never could make a unique Shep who didn't look like he was run over three times by a steamroller and then attacked by wild animals. It was relatively easy to make a good-looking Warden, male or female, so I shall take the unique path once more.

I'll try her on the first playthrough. Unlike default femShepard, default femHawke looks sweet. I might try other presets or customise my own for subsequent playthroughs though if i get bored of default Hawke.

I don't know...I'd like to change some things, like hair, skin, and eye colors, and hair style. But I really like her face. It depends on how easy it is for me to make a face I like in CC that I like.



I will say this is the first time I've ever felt tempted to use the default model first. I do for Shepard, but that's just because his model is leagues and leagues better than any of the others.

'twas the case for male & fem Sheps for me. I thought the default f!Shep was ugly too, so I ended up playing a guy.
I will be making my own Hawks, however.  DA CC is much better to work with.

I always spend forever on customization. But if the demo doesn't have a character creator - which it doesn't - I'll probably get used to default!LadyHawke...and after seeing the video yesterday I was really impressed. She's gorgeous. I might have to stick with her for my first playthrough after all.



Mind you, this will probably change once I get my hands on the character creator and start drooling over all the different hairstyles. XD

I will change her appearance, because she has to be blond. But then, her standard face won't fit, so I have to change all.

This. Typically, I'll spend about an hour on a single face. But then, inevitably, I won't like it, so I'll spend an hour on another one. And so on. Until insanity happens. Three or four days later, I'll have a face I'm happy with.

1) Apparently the demo doesn't have a CC, you just have the option of class and M/F default face. Unless this has changed since last I checked?

2) Is it confirmed that we can't change default Hawke? So I can't have the same face with longer red hair, I'll have to start from scratch?

1. So heard I. No CC in the demo.

2. It was confirmed that we can't change the default Hawke, but t's pretty unclear to me whether Gaider meant just M!Hawke or both M and F.

Probably something similair to this for me as well. Let us see if this will be the first time ever that I choose to use a preset face. I really like the looks of the "default" female Hawke.

I too, tend to take forever to customize my characters.

I might stick to the default for my practice run, seeing as I always flounder about trying to figure out the best build for my characters and end up creating a character who is barely even sub-optimized. Since my practice runs always get scrapped for those reasons, I really see no need to take the time to create a new face.
Subsequent runs, and my canon run for that matter, will make use of the face generator.

I like the default. Both male and female. Definitely an improvement to to ME.

But I'll customize, too. I hope I can keep the hairstyle, though. Like it a lot. Morrigan's hair (and face) was better, but Hawke's hair is nice, too.

Why does everybody want to get rid of the blood smear?? I think I'll keep it.

A very purdy default, but I cannot use it, for firstly, I will be playing a male, and secondly, I find that playing customized characters gives you a far more personalized game experience. Sadly, I don't think I'll be leaving the CC in a looooooong time;

I love Dragon Age very very much. I finally can tell my own story.
My Warden's tale will never end. And so too with Hawke's story.
Every Dragon Age's heroes will not be forgotten. They are immortals in my realm. 

As long as Bioware support the toolset to create our own character and tales.....

I will always heavily tweak my character if given the opportunity. I usually end up with characters that look either black, Native, Latino, or Asian. Or just a mix.
