 I didn't manage to find this news in ""Mass Effect News and Announcements". So I thought of posting this....

ME2 won the Game of the year award in "2011 Interactive Achievement Awards".

It also won, following awards...

Outstanding Achievement in Story
Role-Playing/Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year
