I was given once few points too, but the issue itself still persists. Meanwhile the release of DAO 2 is nearing in and if this doesn't get fixed, it may also mean delayed DLC's (for me, since I can't get those without points) and what not.

I called them, their phone number isn't valid. I e-mailed, no reply. PayPal Claim refunded my money, now I have to wait before purchasing my PC DLC (I already bought the XBOX 360 DLC).
Maybe you'll be nice and give me the remaining DLC I haven't already purchased, for free (hey, look up my account, I already own it...technically speaking

It's obvious I need to nag EA about this but how do I open up a live chat (or whatever it is you're on about)? Is it worth emailing them about it? If so, which e-mail seems to work (quickest)?

I would just like to say that I have used the link given by Tzherhan and have gained all the bioware points that I have paid for. The total time for the waiting list and chat was about 30 minutes and I am content. I did produce evidence of the transaction but that is normal for safely paying for stuff online.

Ya the Points.Bioware.MassEffect2 site is definitely having issues. I got that same error a few days ago. Tried twice there then I went to the main point site (points.bioware.com) and that one worked without any issues. Got billed 3 times for $10 but only received 1 purchase of 800 BioWare points.
I have no idea why they haven't addressed this issue by sending everyone there to buy points while they look into the problem....
Sent them an email to ea support 3-4 days ago and no response to date. This is the same address that is listed on the email to contact if there are problems. There must be a lot of frustrated people that aren't hoping on the forums to find answers....
At any rate I'm gonna hit up that livechat and see if they can fix it.

More significantly: why don't they actually fix the damn system? From the posts, it seems the issue's been around for more than two weeks now, I mean, hullo, they're losing money here...one would think that's the absolute #1 motivation for companies...

I agree with the others. Just had the same problem on two purchases, not giving me points and live chat had it sorted in about 10 mins. Really recommend it.

And as before, it doesn't even try to connect to any site or any other page, PayPal or anything. It immediately errors out with this message. Note that I had cleared all of the cookies and cache of the browser just 10 minutes before that.

My account used to work without any problems until the end of 2010, I've bought plenty of BW points, I've bought all DLC's for DAO and ME1 and ME2 and so on, but in 2011 this is not working at all. I cannot get any points. And DAO2 is about to be released! We really need to have this fixed as fast as possible...

I got that error too, I tried different browsers and both paypal and credit card. The only way it worked was using a credit card and IE through the Dragon Age points page!
After weeks I can finally play the last DLC yay!

Same as everyone else, nothing new to contribute. Using Firefox 3.6 if it means anything(cookies, refs, and NoScript whitelisted for all domains).
Minor update, Internet Explorer with default security doesn't work either.

I can't buy through paypal. And when I tried to add my Credit Card to the account, it says "We're sorry, but we can't perform transactions to this credit card. Please load a different one." The thing is, previous bioware points purchase was through the same Credit Card. I'm from Malaysia if that helps.
