Quick info: I had the same issue when tried to pay via PayPal. Tried twice in fact. Then I tried a direct Mastercard purchase and it worked instantly. I now have 560 BW points (not for long though).

I'm getting the same problem. I try to purchase points via PayPal, get to the confirmation page, then get the error message after clicking "Continue."

I tried using my credit card, but I get a message saying they can't process it.

I don't know if this is still an issue or if Bioware/Paypal finally fixed it...but if you look at the above link closely - you will find a missing "/" that invalidates the URL. "https://masseffect2.points.bioware.comlockbox-ui......"

There is no domain "bioware.comlockbox-ui" but "bioware.com" and the rest of the URL has to be separated by a "/" -> as in "https://masseffect2.points.bioware.com/lockbox-ui/checkout......"

If you add the "/" in the URL between "bioware.com" and "lockbox-ui" right away when you get the 'this website doesnt exist', you actually receive the points. But you were probably looking around for a couple minutes so adding the slash now wont help, just talk to a EA life chat support guy and he will add your points.

I receive the same error. I've received the same error ever since the first time I tried to buy DLC 5 months ago.



"An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."

Apparently 5 months is not "later" enough for my request to be processed or for you to fix your god-awful store setup.

For the past two days, I haven't been able to purchase Points through Bioware. I decided to try EA Store and it worked like a charm. I logged into my Bioware account and my 800 points were there.

I recommend people who can't wait for Bioware to solve this issue to try purchasing the points through EA Store.

But EA Store has its prices in Euros (exchange rate 1US = 1EU). Its nearly 2x more expensive then in Bioware shop.

Do you live in the EU? I only ask because when I bought my points from EA Store I paid $10.00 for 800 points. Thats the same price that Bioware charges. If it's changed since I bought my points that would suck.
