What I fear is that when the new ME2 DLC Arrival comes out, I won't be able to buy it because I can't purchase points...Points page has been like this for months, I hope they'll fix it soon

I am also having troubles with the BW points, I typed in a debit card and it reads it all, but everytime I try to continue they keep saying, " An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later." I REALLY hope that this get fixed, by the looks of thing its been going on for a while.

BTW I am Australian using a pre-paid DEBIT card and I am wondering if that is making a difference?

I was going to add some points so I could be ready to buy the Arrival DLC, but I'm getting this error as well. :-(

 Getting this same problem. I purchased 1600 points two weeks ago, no problem, but now can't buy any. Even tried the EA store to no avail. 

Any solutions out there?

same here. for days now i want to get points so that i can get the new DLC for ME 2. i am still in live chat and this guy told me he is aware of the problem. but keeps telling me i should use a different browser which i did and i still get the same message. also other payments like visa dint work.
i dont want to miss out on the new DLC for ME 2

the guy told me that he will transfere the problem to the senior officers and i should get a email within 48h. i am wondering if they will have a solution to this problem.

i got a response from EA regarding this problem, but not really the answer i was hoping to get. i still hope i will get a email which will say that the problem is solved. i still cant purchase bioware points. really frustrating.

if Bioware can't fix this problem by March 29th("Arrival" Aww yeah), I'll riot. I've been trying to give you my money for months now but you just won't take it :/

Same "try again later" issue. Been able to purchase points before using paypal but since the point system revamp (just before the DA2 release), nada... A localization issue? A system issue? What changed now that the accounts don't process orders correctly? Anyone know if deleting the payment method and then re-creating it again will help at all?

doesnt work. i even tryed to pay with my visa and master card, and non of them worked. the transaction always failed. i really cant understand what is wrong there. i had no problem to buy points for the shadow broker DLC.

I have problem with Visa too, so not a problem on our end!

Have the same problem.
I get the same message that an error has occurred and try again later. I tried about 100 times later already ;( I tried to use different browser (opera and ie) checked the common problems list, log in log out a couple times both here and paypal even restarted my modem. (to get a new ip)

lol, if you find one that really works and has no viruses, can you let me know please
because i was thinking the same too. the last DLC and i cant even buy it the legal way as i did before with all the other DLCs from ME 2.

Deleted and created again the paypal account payment option . Still broken. Same error. Created another account with Mastercard as a payment option. It worked. Managed to buy some points with my card. So far it seems to me that it's a bioware/paypal client-server issue (paypal works fine for me anywhere else!). Either it's a bug or bioware no longer accepts transactions through paypal for customers not in the US... Still wish paypal worked like before. Don't trust my credit card number in a EA server somewhere...

lucky you. i cant buy either with master card or visa.
i even changed my paypal because i moved in to a different country and i still get the same error.

Same problem here, First time I could buy Bioware points through paypal, now it keeps throwing an error.

I wonder what support ticket I should open, since the EA's support system does not even allow an entry for 'bioware points', nor for [game name] - [purchasing] (asks for CC details.. Wth, I am using paypal! Moreover, I don't ask about old purchases, I ask about recent ones!), nor is there even option for DLC questions, really.

No arrival for me, then, I guess.

And now it worked o.O Okay, I might have narrowed it down a bit, maybe this helps other people too.
The 'Add bioware points' optionon the forum sends me to the DA2-themed bioware point website; all purchases from that failed.
Now, I tried (idk why, to be honest, just desperation maybe) to buy dlc for mass effect 2 (namely, shadown broker, which I didn't have yet); and the transaction page rightfully said I didn't have enough pts on my balance. Now, I clicked the 'purchase bioware points' right from the transaction page, and got sent to the ME2-skinned point purchase page. And lo and behold, the paypal option went through! and without any issues either.. 

So maybe this helps for other folks too - maybe there is an issue with the DA2-skinned version of the site, or maybe you need to buy the points when trying to get dlc, and not just generally... Or maybe someone behind the scenes noticed my post, heh, who knows.

Either way, I'm happy now

I can't even register my card as a payment option I try all my family cards and they not work, so defo not problem with card. I try lot of browser too I just want DLC

It just worked on me with Paypal, ME2 skin too. I'm not sure this is really a fix -- I'm sure two weeks ago I tried the ME2 thing and it didn't work. Either way, I'm glad I found a way to get the points without getting robbed by EA Store. If someone else can confirm this working, that'd be good.
