I have an idea about to get femShep and maleShep on the cover but still only one Shepard:

Use one of these pictures that look like one thing from one angle and another thing from another (don't know the term for them). So if you look at the cover a certain way, you'd see maleShep, but change the angle a little and you'll see femShep.

I'd like to see that done with on of those most black-and-blue covers from the OP.

Lenticular. Yes. That is an awesome idea. Still prefer reversible covers (lenticular is still a little blurry)..but nice.

So far this is my favorite (standard) box art created so far -



All it needs is a few images of reapers in the background and a space themed skybox. While already nice, the problem is that it could easily be replaced with the cover for a modern shooter and the uninformed consumer wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The above suggestions could possibly alleviate that notion however.

I can't wait to see just how wrong and far off the "best" ones really are from the final decision. Now all there is to do is wait a few months and see. With any luck though, they'll make some nice box art on their own.

Honestly, I'd love it if something like this were turned into the ME3 cover.



It really captures the forlorn, hopeless feel the game is projecting.

Aside from that, this is my runner up.



Maybe they could be the front and back respectively?
