I'd rather not romance a demon. Speaking of Anders and his little problem.
And some of us would rather not romance a dwarf, haha. But hey, we all have our preferences.

If they were going to let awkward sex scenes stop them, then no one would have been romancable in Origins.Nimpe wrote...
I vote Varric for being unromancable, simply for the awkward sex scenes.

Yes but it looks like they're improving them. Look at the Isabella kissing session. Imagine Hawke having to have to hold Varric off the ground while kissing.

Alistair, Morrigan, Zevran and Leliana leaned down to kiss dwarves. How come Hawke can't do the same?

If my Hawke romances him/herself, is that still incest?

I saw the "ew" quote in the original Varric fan thread and got the impression he was teasing (it's kind of hard to tell -- other people aren't clear on it either). He later clarified in the same thread that his original dwarf romance quote only applied to writing dwarf/dwarf romances.Dave of Canada wrote...

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that Varric will be un-romanceable. I believe that one of the DA2 developers stated that he did NOT approve of dwarf romances.
Gaider? He said "ew", though I think that was more of a joke. He also said this:Here. One day, however, we WILL do a dwarf-specific romance. I swear it.

I was actually really hoping for Sebastian. If he isn't romanceable... I guess it'll be Isabela. Cuz I didn't really like Anders and Fenris' voice scares me.

I don't know. But she's very strong which threatens a lot of the less physically inclined male posters... so they are more afraid then eager at the prospect of jumping into bed with her.Rawgrim wrote...
