I've a new Orlesian Warden for Awakenings, a Rogue.  I plan to make Anders an Arcane Warrior so I can have a 3 Rogue Bard Archers + 1 Arcane Warrior party.  What's the best armour for an Arcane Warrior, as an armoured caster?

Basically, I want to give Anders a balance of protection without eating too much into his spellcasting.  He's there to Heal, cast Crushing Prison and a few other tactical spells while the Rogue Bards focus on just dealing sheer damage.

I'm thinking Wade's Dragonscale Armour, which worked well in DA:O as providing the best defense for the least fatigue ratio.  The thing is I can buy the whole set at Herren's stall.  Ideas welcome, thanks for any feedback.

Evon+Wades Still Great. Hirols Defense is allright too, Sentinal is more for show and offensive ability.

You need the No helmet hack bad

Side note, it was around here somewhere but someone made a sentinel helm that used the blood dragon armor helm but black and red. Looked great.

Listening to your advice, I ultimately went with Dragonscale, but mainly because it was Anders. There's a few new Sustained spells now where he really needs minimal fatigue.



Dragonscale simply got the job done. It was easy to acquire from Herren's shop, then provided just enough protection to keep Anders alive when he was being overwhelmed by Childers.



I will use the Sentinel for the character I'm transferring from Origins. In fact, it should be a blast as my hero would look great in this.
