I'm inclined to think that Isabela is an outlier to the general trend because she was already shown to be bisexual in DA:O, and wasn't created from scratch for this game. But I acknowledge that it's hardly an airtight theory, and Fenris is, to me, a plausible candidate for bi love interest. I just doubt it.

Not really Silk Fox is also a female bisexual rogue in BW's games. It's kind of a running trend for the rogues to be bi.

I don't know the fact that he's skippable pretty much seals him in my mind. But then again personal interpretation is just guess.

Though why do you not thinkg Fenris is plausible? Because the whole elf thing?

I find him more plausible smiply because Anders is more implausible due to him being in Awakening and how he had no problem flirting with a female PC but not a male.

I said he is plausible, I just don't think he's as likely as Anders. It's just my hunch, but neither of us has any evidence, so we'll just have to wait and see.

There haven't been any official announcements for anyone yet - save Isabela by implication - and since she's bi she IS a fem!Hawke option.

Well, it does say that she's a romantic interest on the demo page:
"After finishing the prologue, players will enter a key new location in the world of Dragon Age, Kirkwall, befriending Isabela, a romantic interest in the game who is also a deadly smuggler."

Don't know how much more official it can get, really. *sigh*:( I want official stuff for Lady Hawkes, too!

You specifically need them to tell you that there will be love interests for FemHawke? You cant conclude on your own that if ManHawke has LIs that the female will have the same in a corresponding manner? You cant need your hand held that much.....

Come on, Fenris and Anders are clearly going to be female romances, even if it's unofficial.

Ah. So we're pretty much opposites. :P

@VanDraegon people are anxious? interested? because we've been able to infer the two female love interests since bioware has said there will be four (two male and two female) and Aveline has been confirmed as NOT being one. There are three options for male LIs (Varric, Anders, Fenris) and no one has been confirmed or denied, so we don't have as much info as the straight guys and bi girls.

Fenris bi-love interest (No confirmation of any kind, just a heavy leaning towards given past experiences.)

I really doubt this. Bioware tries to differentiate characters in their games that have the potential to be similar, especially sequels.

Some examples from Mass Effect:
- Liara was young, shy and inexperienced, while in ME2 Samara was old, experienced and dedicated.
- Wrex was ancient and a cynic, while Grunt was young and enthusiastic.

I really doubt that Fenris is the bi romance option, simply because Zevran was in Dragon Age: Origins, and I don't think Bioware will do two bisexual elven males in a row.

Really, Fenris just doesn't strike me as the open-minded sort. He'd either be gay or straight. Or maybe it's just my mentality.

*And I admit I know next to nothing about him. Nor do I wish to at this point. One big spoiler was enough for me.

This

You only get 2 romance options of each sex, they won't waste one on a dwarf who 90% of people wouldn't wanna see.

Truth.

5% of people total played dwarves in DA:O.  I'd imagine the pool of those who would romance one is even smaller.

There are no announcements of FemHawke romances because Mr. Gaider loves torturing us.

I'm serious. Right now he's probably laughing as he watches us Fengirls and Anders fangirls weeping as we wait for confirmation.

Is that a real statistic, because I always got the impression that a whole lot of folks played as a female dwarf.

@Eternally Faithful; Or there is a marketing plan. Why take it so personally?

And never seeing a dwarven love interest is as likely as never seeing a dwarven player character again, then.

Maybe female hawke doesnt deserve to be loved. I know that sounds harsh, but you dont know her. She could be a succubus.

Real one unfortunately, barely anybody played dwarves. From what we know, human noble and human mage was the most popular with elves pretty far back and then the dwarves at the complete end.

A Dev said that they do not whant us to know who are the LI before we play the game because they whant the reletionship to develope on its own without us chosing who before we play.

I'm planning to play as dwarves eventually but I've not go to it yet.  I've only had the game on my computer since New Year though...

LMAO "Dating Age" This made my day.
Don't care about the romance options really, as long as FemHawke can get it on with Anders.
