I agree on all except Tali. She has no expertise commanding fleets and one more quarian wouldn't be needed on the Flotilla.

She is seen as being pretty close to Shepard if she is loyal, even  female, unromancable one, I don't see her being in any hurry to go back to the Flotilla if she is loyal, and if she isn't then she wouldn't be able to.

Well this is why I put ABC over that since I change my opinion on this.
But still Bioware might go cruel on that one.

Also confirmed by Ray Muzyka : ME3 will be emotionally engaging. Love them PR lines from ME2.

Also said space exploration still part of it...so not as Earth centric as some feared.

Mining was confirmed to stay around, so I think that we already knew that.

Also when and where was that confirmed.
I heard long time ago it will stay but I never checked out is it true.

I don't think that's why most people fear it might be too Earth centric.  I imagine most people expect that we'll be exploring the galaxy as much as before - but it's the idea that the game will ultimately be about saving Earth,  that implies that it's Earth-centric, not the amount of it that we'll see.

But in any case, I suppose we can only focus on the postives given that the story has already been written (I think).

There should be a source on the Confirmed Features thread.

Well at least we know we won't have recruitment and loyalty mission.
I think.

Well, according to what Brandon Keener said in his interview with Retroplayer, at least some squaddies will be returning.

All squaddies will be returning, more or less
PS. Not sure about Zaeed and Kasumi though

ME3 a great point of entry. Are you kidding me? Bioware what happened to you? Have you been sippin' t EA's koolaid that long? I can already see where this is going. Don't expect any real "consequences" to your actions of the first two games except an email. If DA:2 ends up being a disappointment too, Bioware will have lost a loyal customer.

I think it was Casey Hudson. They said it would be back, but it won't be as essential as in the second game.

Hopefully a point of entry is just a longer comic book.

How does BW get the idea that the 3rd game in a trilogy is a great entry point? Seriously!

I remember Casey saying that as well, but that was months ago, back over the summer as I remember.

BTW, did anyone else catch how they thought how well the PS3 Comic was they plan to use something similar to it in the future?

edit - forgotten thought

I hope they keep everything under wraps until the game comes out, most of the times when you get a game like this you know half of the story before it even comes out.

^ For Mass Effect 2, I found that we knew too much. We essentially knew the entire story and characters by the time it was released.

For ME3, I hope they give out fewer details to keep us guessing, even if it is torture for us fans.

This interview told us very little and people are looking way way way into the lines said. They're keeping their mouths shut and it's obvious the Drs. would have been more interested to talk about other things like KotoR.

The one thing that sucks is he didn't ask about more DLCs! Wtf

@Slayer299 - My thoughts exactly. I can't even comprehend what must be going through their minds for them to be able to say something like that. Completely ridiculous. My hopes for the third game have been shot.

From what I gathered from Ray's words towards the end, at some point in ME3, we will have to actually travel to the Reaper place of origin, whether it be a planet or otherwise. We know the Reapers are from dark space which lies outside the Milky Way, so... does that mean Shepard and her forces will leave the Milky Way for this?

wow! we will go to reaper homeworld(?) in the end. then we need total mass weapons of destruction. that's very interesting. well, I guessed before. but actually it is exciting when I actually hear from Bioware founders. we go there, rape all of them (reapers). we need a great engineer to hack them, then hijack them totally. Tali, legion are not enough. we need 'Issac Clarke'. sorry, nowdays, I have been so addictive on dead space 2 game. but if it is possible, he will be very good asset.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going to believe a word, especially from someone who isn't really on the ME3 team.

Only official screenshots and footage are reliable sources for rumors. But even that is subject to change. For instance, in one of the trailers for ME2 Jacob was to be seen in normal hardsuit.

Not sure if you remember, but the dialog from Illusive Man was really weird in the ME2 trailer. "He doesn't even konw what he's getting into. He's building an impressive team. Scouring the galaxy.." Illusive Man put Shep in that position to begin with. Your thoughts on that?

And I agree. I'm not believing anything. That interview was not intended to reveal any info that we didn't already know.
