I am playing around with spells a little bit.

making a few more "useful" and altering the way a few work eg, the rejuv heal duration to 30 secs from 10.


but I wanted to buff chain lightning, since it seems.. really weak to the point where its hardly used..

but I can't find it?
I can find, lightning, shock, and tempest.. but can't find chain lightning anywhere?

any ideas?

I'd like to modify it myself. As a tier 4 spell, it's pretty suck-tastic. What I had in mind was removing it completely, and bumping Shock and Tempest each up a tier, and adding Lightning Weapons back in at the tier 2 spot. (The icon for Lightning Weapons is still in the game's resources.)



Only thing is, I can't figure out the GUI stuff.



BTW: Where are the spell scripts? I haven't seen them anywhere!

for XavierGrimwand the spells are int he toolset in scripts \\ ability_scripts \\ spells

spell_singletarget - heals and direct nukes
spell_modla - buffs
spell_aoe_instant - instant nuke aoe
spell_aoe_duration - blizzard inferno etc
spell_cone - the 3 cone nukes, frost fire and electric

remove anything apart from these out your override after editing if you wish to play single player
