They are spirits, they are born from the fade.
They dont reproduce.

If you need to see something similiar look at demons in Warhammer (the books and IP, not the game). There is an endless supply of demons, but they dont reproduce. Those demons do occasionally have sex, but only with mortals.

Sorry, joking does not translate on the internet very well.  I just thought it was funny people were talking about Justice as though he had a sexual preference.  I remember in Awakening when he was talking with Oghren, he didn't understand any of the euphemisms for sex.  I agree with you; he is probably asexual.

I can't help but wonder this myself, though I'm not sure what the odds are. I could see Anders or Fenris being the bi male choice without any difficulty, and we already know Isabela is up for whatever. The only one that leaves me wondering about the simple possibility is Merrill, who we just don't know a whole lot about at this point, personality-wise (there are plenty of lesbians who give off the 'girl next door' vibe, after all, so I don't see that description being a ruling out of her possibility for Lady Hawke).

I think he's saying Justice would disapprove or something. It's pretty unlikely he would think anything of it, being a spirit who only cares about justice. Or vengance.

Leliana was the 'virginal girl next door' and she was bisexual enough.

And while we're on that, Merrill being a 'virginal girl next door' and all this 'she's soo cute' thing makes me so very bored. Merrill wasn't this way in DA: O, I would be disappointed if she turned into a kitty-cute little elf in DA II.

While I agree that the reasoning of virginal girl next door=straight is flawed and offensive, Merill still won't be bi. Assuming they follow the formula form DAO, there will only be one bi female, and Isabella has already filled that spot.

Oh I don't think she'll be bisexual either, I'm just saying that's kinda offensive. I just get aggravated because it seems people like to think bisexual=sexual promiscuity because the range of potential lovers is much larger than that of a heterosexual or homosexual person.

But still, I've never thought for a second that Merill would be bi x]

I think Justice would disapprove of any romance, period, to be honest. He'd probably get upset that Anders is fooling around when they could be out justice/vengeance-ing it up somewhere.

...OR... maybe pursuing romance with Anders makes Justice develop 'mortal feelings' for Hawke as well, so it's like a weird, two person love triangle. Who knows?
