Right on, he did. It is confirmed we can basically expect at least two bisexual companions, one being male and the other female.

I was going by what you and him were saying. You said david gaider said there would be a Bi companion so i interjected that he did not say full romance.

And your off topic and if i was trolling, by responding at all you would be feeding me.

I'm curious as to what you guys would think if the friendship and rivalry paths were only open to certain genders. Using Isabela and Fenris as examples, if the males romancing Isabela had to travel the Rivalry path, and the females romancing her did so on the Friendship path. Conversely, Rivalry for women PCs with Fenris, whereas Friendship would open his romance up for men. Would that bother you? Do you think it would make it more interesting, or simply unfair?

It would be unfair, and it would also not make sense. Friendship and rivalry are meant to describe who my character's philosophy and worldview relate to her companions'. It's entirely possible that her personality is such that I could only roleplay honestly along Isabela's rivalry path. That in and of itself is no reason to block off a romance plot. It's entirely possible that there may be some variables that only correlate to the rivalry path that would do so, but I should have a good idea what those variables are as I approach them, and I shouldn't be forced into them because I happen to be taking a rivalry path with Isabela.

Out of love for Hawke Justice will sacrifice himself and depart Anders peacefully, allowing Anders and Hawke to live on happily until the first expansion pack.

I'd prefer the bi male romance to be a human for 1 simple reason. I prefer my romance options to be roughly the same height and build as me As much as I wished to try the Zev romance I just couldn't simply because physically he looked ridiculous next to me. Elves are just too slim and wiry. It's why people see them as feminine. There are many people of both genders who are attracted to masculine features and it's difficult for some of those people to see elves as masculine simply due to their lithe bodies and often times androgynous features.

Alistair was a HUGE hit with players (both males and females) who like male romances and many gay players were disheartened when they found out he wasn't romanceable by males and overjoyed when the dlc was made that made him romanceable by males. As much as it was Alistair's personality that won over many male players I would be willing to bet his physical parameters in relation to their own character helped as well. At least it did for me.   A character like Sebastion would be what I'd likely want to romance with my male Hawke in the game just from the choice of males we've seen.

If the male romances are fenris and anders I will hope that if nothing else a) anders gets a "males can romance him" mod and fenris gets a "you now look like a healthy human male instead of a slim androgynous elf" mod.

Merrill is needed to move the plot further (ritual on the Sundermount that is plot important impossible without her)



Anders is also needed to move the plot (he have a Deep Roads map with him and it is impossible to prepare for expedition without it).



Perhaps you are able not to take them in you party after their initial task is over, but I think some people will be offended by the fact that they need to be in a bi companions company.



So I think that those characters are not bisexual. I could be wrong thought.

Maybe you are right and this time they will go other way around and make people recruit Anders to show that having bi in your party will do no harm to you.

I doubt Anders will be the Bisexual option. He never struck me as Bisexual in Awakening. If anything I'm thinking Fenris will be the Bisexual option.

That or he tried covering his chest but that chest hair always rips his shirts because it can't be contained.
