Hey.
So I was playing some random S.W.A.T. game recently (PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!)and I felt that its biggest problem was that, while every member of your team is integral for survival, these type of games rarely are able to let the player connect to your different team mates and that they're easy interchangable with any other individual wielding a gun and with similar specialties.
Now let's compare this to BW games: I think the problem here is the exact opposite. Your teammates are incredibly unique, each with a backstory and a fleshed out character. But the problem is, that while a teammate may have his own unique ability (such as healer or long ranged archer or whatever) when it boils down to the basics of attacking an enemy (shooting or any other way to diminish an enemie's health) you're really a one man team and your team mates are quite useless.
Now what were to happen if we combined the two? Think about it. I'm not saying it should be a Tom Clany game or anything. I guess if I had to compare it, I would say it would be a Mass Effect game but much more heavily team based, tactical and strategy oriented.
The beauty here would be that you really do relly on your team mates to get you through missions, and the reward of keeping them alive would be more tangible.
I would have to say this would need to be a scifi game of some sort. Maybe after the ME trilogy is done?
Tell me if you think this sounds like a cool game for BW to make...
