How do you go about getting the comic for ME2 if you do not have a internet connection for your ps3. All I can do is download it off my pc then put it on usb and auto update it (like I do for ps3 updates). Just very confused because the only place I can find to redem the code seems to refer to PC and xbox only not ps3. Which makes me worried I don't want to screw it up and have to deal with the "high quality" EA support.

If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great thanks.

Also who the hell at EA thought NOT inculding this on the cd was a ****en good idea should be beaten to death, then there entrie family should be shot. Just so we can be certain that this will not happen again. FOR **** SAKES WHEN I BUY A GAME I DON'T WANT TO WAIST MY ****EN TIME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE CONTENT. MY GOD IS IT THAT HARD TO PUT IT ON THE DISK  or at least give detail instructions for how to get it on the ps3.

Anyway thats the end of my rant.

As far as I know the only way to get the comic is to download it when you activate your Cerberus Network code. Not sure why Bioware did not put it on the disk. It makes no senses.

You have to redeem it within the game which requires your PS3 being connected to the internet unfortunately.

Not that I am aware of. You would have to check with EA/Bioware on that.

QUESTION
Where do I find my Mass Effect 2 DLC in the game?

ANSWER

Before you can access DLC content in the game you must activate your codes and associate the content to your EA account. To do this:

* Visit the Code Redemption page at http://social.bioware.com/redeem/.
* Make sure you are signed into the account you will use when logging into Mass Effect 2 and enter any applicable promo codes.
* After applying the codes to your account, go back to the social.bioware.com site and mouse over Profile, then Your registered game promotions.
* Download any files you would like from your list of Mass Effect 2 entitlements and install the files. If the installer completes without any errors, the content is installed correctly.
* Run the game.

You will notice that if you have not run the game before, none of the content will load. This is because you have not yet authenticated yourself in the game. This needs to be done at least once. You can authenticate yourself by logging into the game with the same details used to login and download content.

If you have previously signed in with the incorrect account, go into the options menu and disable auto-login. Then restart the game and try logging in again with the appropriate login account.

After logging in, start the game to access your DLC. New weapons and armor can be accessed from either the armory or Shepard's private terminal on the Normandy. For Cerberus content, check your Missions and Assignments tab. You will receive notifications for the content when you have met the in-game requirements to access it.

Armor and weapons will not be available until you have reached a point in the game that allows you to access the armory. Likewise, Missions and Assignments, although installed, will not appear under their respective tabs until you have reached the appropriate point in game.

I may not be 100% sure, but those instructions seem to be applicable to the PC version of the game and not the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of the game. As far as I know of the only way to download the DLC for Xbox and PS3 is from the console itself.

Instead of yelling like a crazed ******, why don't you just get a connection for your PS3, it's not that hard.... Either get an ethernet cable or setup WiFi

its not really viable for me to setup internet connection for my ps3 just in relation to where it is from my router, will just have to download it from a mates place as it seems nothing is in place for people like me.

I feel I have right to have a good rant this is the kinda bs that is ruining games and it is bad enough when you know about it but to not have it on the cover of the game is just very underhanded. If you don't rage at this type of stuff what other way is there to make them understand this is a bad way to go about it.

At least they have not made us have to have a active internet connection to play games on consoles... yet.

Blame the Used game market for  taking a very significant amount of sales from the publisher.

They kept this off the disc as an incentive to not buy the game Used.

But, yeah, this is irresponsible.
