How is it that they exist on different planets? I assume they aren't a space faring species, so how exactly have they wound up on multiple planets? Is their original planet ever specified?
Also, I was on Trebin and I could have sworn I fought a pink and yellow Thresher, Was I the only one who saw this? (I just thought it was strange)

I dunno about the color of the one you saw on Trebin, but here is the wiki http://masseffect.wi...ki/Thresher_Maw

I assumed Cerberus shipped them everywhere to make traps to capture more humans to do tests on.

The Codex says they were spread accidentally as spores by previous generations of space-faring races.

Yeah I was really shocked. The thresher would pop up in its usual colors, but after 1-2 seconds the color pallet would change to pink and yellow. At first I thought it was a one time thing or my eyesplaying tricks on me, but the next time, I drove up close to it just to be sure, and there was no mistaking it, this Thresher Maw was bright pink and yellow.
I don't know if this was an easter egg or just a glitch, but it sure was weird.

I always thought they were spread from world to world by spores and by meteorites. I mean look at every thresher nest you come across, almost everyone of them looks like it's in the middle of an impact crater (especially Trebin and Eldolus).
