What exactly is the Gamer Profile save? I know that if I delete it, I keep my achivements. If I unlocked the Power Gamer achievement and deleted my Mass Effect Gamer Profile save, I can start a new game and still be able to reach lvl 60. So, basically it seems to me to be a useless save. Can someone explain it to me?

I'm on Xbox 360, btw.

Do you mean the hidden file that gets transfered into ME2?

When you go to system settings>memory>games>mass effect, there is a file called gamer profile. What is that?

I am not entirely sure, but that file could be what allows you to go past level 50 on you're first playthrough with a new Shepard.

The reason I mention this is because I was forced to upgrade my 360, and I did not transfer my data saved on the my old HD to my new one.

I had beaten the game a few times using the first HD, and then I was limited to level 50 on my newer HD, without that data from the old one.

My achievements transfered fine with no issues, but I'm not sure what else could be saved in that file.

Hmm, I've always assumed that "perks" such as lvls 51-60 were unlocked directly by the achievements themselves. Like the game would read your achievements and give you those perks. :\\
