I started doing a Adept (since Adept was my personal favorite in ME1) run on Insanity and doing pretty decent so far. Tore through Freedom progress pretty easy without spending any points so far. Hence why i need advice on my adept and how to priotize my squad members powers. I know warp and Singularity are the bread and butter of a Adept. But want input how i should go about leveling so i don't hit any snags as bad i should say. Currently i'm using the Blood Dragon Armor cause i feel i need the 15% power damage atm and i chose Stasis as my bonus. Not for the bug mind u but for breathing room. Saved my ass during the rocket drone assault and also gave Jacob time to get back up against the YMIR tech. I like using Miranda and think for my 3rd slot i want Zheed as he can bring some muscle to the team till i get Grunt. If anyone can tank Insanity mode i think it would be a krogan.

Warp bomb squadmates:

Jacob: Pull and squad incendiary ammo

Miranda: Unstable Warp, Area overload and Cerberus Tactician (squad bonuses)

Thane: Unstable Warp, Heavy Throw, Drell Marksman (insane weapon damage), sniper rifles

Samara: Throw 3, Pull 2, Sapiens Justicar (power cooldown) and Area Reave

Jack: Shockwave 3, Pull 2, Primal Adept (power cooldown) and Squad Warp Ammo

Any combination of squadmates with pull and warp should work really well. Each member has additional benefits of squad health/weapon bonuses, squad ammo powers, damage dealing powers or major weapon damage. Average Gatsby makes good arguments for Samara and Thane in his Adept videos: http://www.youtube.c.../14/uP4Bw_MjAZI

If you'd rather not go the warp-bomb route, I recommend heavy damage dealers such as Grunt, Garrus, Zaeed, Thane and of course Miranda for her squad bonuses.

Personally, I would say max out heavy warp, then passive, then heavy singularity, then split points between pull/throw/bonus. Shockwave is, from personal experience, useless on hardcore or insanity. My personal build, with the levelling priorities from top to bottom, is:

Heavy Warp

Nemesis

Heavy Singularity

Pull 1

Heavy Barrier / Tungsten Ammo

Heavy throw

Hope this helps!

Getting lvl 1 pull and throw early should also help. While it slows your maxing out of singularity and your passive a bit, these are important abilities for speeding up your casting speed and keeping you away from enemy fire.

Mordin's recruitment is useful for having access to upgrades.  Beyond that, I base my mission order off of what upgrades I want.

Biotic damage upgrades aren't available in any great number before Horizon.  Do the Firewalker missions to get the only Biotic damage upgrade you can before Horizon.  After Horizon, prioritize missions in a way that allows you to get the additional upgrades you need for the duration increase and the cooldown reduction.  Visiting Ilium and recruiting Samara right after Horizon is one viable option.

Thane, with his Warp support, is another squadmate I try to recruit early as an Adept.  Unfortunately his mission isn't great for upgrades.
