You all are going to stone me for this (and every other movie I am about to mention) but : Pulp Fiction.
And Inglourious Basterds.

And Lost Highway. Never really liked Lynch movies. There are much more deeper, better and even more psychedelic movies.

Curious case of Benjamin Button - so pathetic and sentimental.

And my biggest hate - The Shawshank Redemption. IMDB top 1, best movie ever made - What! My inner film critic is screaming.

There's a difference between hating and  a bad movie .. I did not enjoy black Swan but i'm not hating on it either.I won't rate it either  .My  opignons  is tainted .Why?Because i don't like these type of movie. That why we're not professional film critic .

it's like saying . .WOW beethoven had no talent he suck .. Who will listen to you?

But thats it what it is all about. About being incogruent. Thats how film critics work. For example take Tarantino, while there are people who totally adore him, there are others who thinks he is overratted. I saw all his movies, I understant why they are so good, what they ment for postmodernism. It just, I know most of the movies he quotes in there and somethimes ist just feels he is just compiling movies for other movies rather than he is creating movies. Isnt that what this topic was about? Some people adore Pulp fiction some not.
I dont hate those movies, I mentioned word hate only one, in Shawshank. And I stand for it, for this particular movie.
I know why I stated those movies, I have my reason and dont worry they are logical ones.

Schindler's List. I much prefer the release of the concentration camp survivors in Band of Bros rather than this stereotyped filled piece of cinema. I also disliked Munich a great deal; expected much more.

But my lifetime of film experience is much improved with Spielberg's majority of work in them.

No Country for Old Men - Way too many loose ends, many people love it but I thought it was overrated.

I also agree with Elaine Benes about The English Patient.

I'll add my voice of disdain to Avatar. I don't think I have ever seen a movie where I could care any less about any of the characters or storyline. I HATED the movie's protagonist too.

Other movies I hate that everyone else loves.

Juno-The dialog in this movie tries so hard to be hip and clever that you can tell that your average idiot who watches it will walk out of the theatre thinking he is more intelligent just as a result of watching this movie.
NOBODY talks the way the characters in this movie talk especially not 16 year old girls. Pretentious as SIN!

Transformers-A movie for idiots...moving on.

Space Odyssey 2001-Visually the movie is great, even by today's standards. But as a piece of entertainment it is slow, and boring. Too much of the movie is spent just looking at things floating around. The movie is a good work of art but it's pace and narrative is incredibly tedious.

Pulp Fiction-This movie just tries too hard to be clever. All the dialogue about cheeseburgers, oral pleasure, and and all of the witty pop culture references just seem like Tarantino's attempt to show off how witty he is. None of it felt like it had any role in the movie and the cohesion between the multiple scenarios in the film felt contrived.

Return of the Jedi-The movie felt like a rehash of A New Hope and there were way too many cheesy looking muppets. Seeing the Death Star destroyed a second time wasn't nearly as cool as the first.

Braveheart-The movie was WAY too long and it is so historically inaccurate that it's offensive. The worst part was when they implied that William Wallace is actually the father of King Edward the III. Laughably stupid especially considering Princess Isabella was only 10 years old when William Wallace died.
What's worse about Braveheart is that now every dope who is at least 1/16th Scottish now claims to be a descendant of WIlliam Wallace although most of these fools probably never even heard of him before watching this crap movie.
In fact, just go to Scotland and everyone there will tell you their ancestor is William Wallace.  William Wallace must've nailed every single woman in Scotland at the time.

Blair Witch Project-The movie was a scam. Everyone who paid money to see it should be refunded. It's one thing when a movie claims to be better than it really is since quality is subjective but for a movie to flat out lie to you by saying the events really happened, well that's just criminal! That fact aside, the movie looks like some crappy MTV reality show, it sucked.

There are a lot more like most TIm Burton movies but that's all I feel like covering right now.

Avatar. The writing was complete rubbish, I couldn't believe the blatant 'borrowings'

Eye candy does not a good movie make.

Oh blimey, I'd managed to erase that travesty from my mind until you reminded me.  2001 is almost certainly the most serially overrated film I've known.  Maybe it's just me, but I found its boringness was only matched by its incoherence, neither of which are exactly the cornerstones of art that some people like to assume.  The one scene that sums up 2001 for me is the one where the space module thingy gradually descends to the bottom of the screen over the course of several minutes.  Tedious, boring, dull and pointless.

And as much as I hate to agree with several others, quite.  Braveheart was offensive in so many ways, and absolutely representative of Hollywood at its worst, misrepresenting history and attempting to stir up trouble for its own not very impressive ends; and Jedi's muppets... seriously, what were they thinking?  And why did they not learn their lesson before they dreamt up Jar-Jar?!

Blair Witch was kind of "interesting" in terms of being a new look at the "mockumentary"-type film making, though it's a stretch to say it was "good" since it wasn't very; and I quite liked Pulp Fiction in a rather nihilistic way, but it seems that people made a bit too much of it.

Avatar, it doesn't even deserve to be called that. It will now be refered to as Futuristic Pocahontas!

I also hate Twilight, I fail to see how it got such a following (oh wait horny girls + Guys without shirts, I see now)

The Wicker Man (I now hate any movie with Nicolas Cage because of this movie)

Changeling was an Oscar winning movie with Scarlett Johanson that everyone loved. After watching the film appealed to me really as a movie about sexist cops and Scarlett complaining in Los Angeles.

Transformers 2, I thought that this movie proved that there is such thing as too much fan service for Meghan Fox admirers, the camera was pointed down her shirt for like 20 minutes. Oh, and the plot didn't make any sense.  On the other hand, I liked the leg-humping decepticon.  It reminded me of the movie's fans.
Revenge of the Sith, Many fans claim that Star Wars 3 was the only movie in the prequel trilogy worth watching. I say that none of them were.
Inglorious Bastards, I found this movie boring, and the "Jew hunter" is especially overrated.

Twilight- Emo vampires that sparkle in the sunlight. Do I have to say any more? Basically it ruins the entire concept of vampires and werewolves.

Step Brothers- I just couldn't get into it and didn't find it all that funny like a lot of people did.
