I've got the real ending for ME3 right here:

"As the reaper fleet closes in, the Normandy uses the main guns to fire Zaeed at the biggest reaper. 'Comeere you gawddamn sunofa****!' he yells through space while firing Jessie at the reaper hordes! He smashes into the reaper and performs a roundhouse kick, destroying the entire reaper fleet. Meanwhile Shepard runs down to engineering and shoves Tali into the engine core to "lighten the ship" in order to escape the massive thermonuclear blast."

"While the cost of the battle was Chuck Norris' last known living descendant Zaeed, (see plot twist in act II) the battle was won."

"Shepard goes to the council to receive some medals and hear a speech, but suddenly the turian councilor throws aside the rest of the council with his biotics and fights Shepard one on one. Then Anderson runs in the room. "RAMIREZ!" he yells, "FINISH HIM!" (Mortal Kombat voice). Then Shepard rips out his spine. The end."

I stole that straight from the Bioware secret labs.

My bull**** detector nearly deafened me as soon as I opened that thread. It wasn't even an interesting premise, "Creators" who seed life and are as powerful as Reapers, Sovereign was pretty clear about stemming the chaos of organic evolution, not breaking his rival's science project.

According to my REAL script of ME3 the reapers are revealed to by the descendants of a toaster Chuck Norris tossed into space.

If there's a Cthulhu species, why couldn't there be an Angel species?

The good/evil dichotomy is against the original message of Lovecraft's work, and had no identifiable benevolent beings. The authors could throw in a powerful benevolent species, but that's way too cliche and I pray to Cthulhu to visit them in their sleep if they do.

The poster of the "story leak" seems to have forgotten that the Protheans were heavily suggested to be the "life-seeders" already.

I'm friends with everyone in the know...

...I shouldn't be saying this...but the world is really the matrix...and we're all living inside of an artificial construct....

I could get in lots of trouble, but I need people know. To find out the truth please send eleventy billion trillion dollars to the following address----

In all seriousness, even if it's true, as a disgruntled employee - burning your mates who slave away and work with you is not a good thing, you're only hurting them more then the body you're trying to spite...and if it's not...well it's another theory...as long as Shep doesn't end up being the chosen destiny child of the beings of light known as the creators...I will headdesk so hard it will probably kill me...

The Quarians Creators actually wonder how another species got their title in the Mass Effect franchise.

I wonder if it worked, when the first person ever tried to play the "my friend/dad/nan/next-door neighbour's aunty works for the developers card.

Only click the link if you have played both Mass Effect 1 and 2 to completion.  There are minor, inconsequential spoilers, mostly related to ME1.

Anyway, I would normally not give a thread like this any thought, but for some reason I have a gut feeling this one is true.  What do you guys think?

Interesting.

More of an opinion than a "point."

Except the BS'er had every opportunity to read that and create a theory around it first. Basing a theory on existing facts is interesting but it has no credibility without predictive value. This guy's theory has no more value than string theory.

Point is, if you operate under the assumption that this person actually did hear this from a friend working on the ME3 team, it gives him even more credibility. If you assume that he's making it up, it's irrelevant because he's making it up regardless. He doesn't become "more wrong."
