So why is teh paragon thing to do refusing to help Emily Wong? You say something about them losing their jobs, but she said it was to help them get better safety.
It seems like the Boy Scout option would be to plant the bug.

Is it the paragon thing to do from a rp perspective or dialogue choice? I've always assisted her, whether playing as a paragon or renegade Shepard. Helping her is supposed to improve safety due to showing just how over-worked the traffic controllers are to the public, which is supposed to then pressure the council to improve the situation. There's nothing renegade about that.

there's nothing really renegade about killing red sand and slave dealing warlords, but agreeing to help Helena Blake is a renegade option, while denying her and getting the quest anyways - paragon. I think mostly, it has to go with the action itself?
getting into the heart of police precinct to plant a bug for the reporter - even if the cause is good, its still a dishonest, clandestine act. remember, renegade acts are not necessarily evil, but rather pragmatic and expedient.

That other reporter with the real long name in the C-Sec district? Yes, it's renegade to punch her in the face, but she deserved it.
