I’m wondering what tips people have for making male elves in the cc or especially in the toolset.  The other races and genders seem to be much easier to work with.  The melfs, imo, have this big problem that their chins are sort of spherical, and I’ve had difficulty making their jaws & chins decent-looking as a result.

I’ve noticed that some other posters get around that issue somehow.  Some of them seem to use the square-face slider in the toolset but not all of them seem to, and I’m wondering if there are other ways.  I know reading through the forums other people can find it frustrating too   I don’t suppose there’s a way to change facial features apart from those sliders.  (Like when I DLed the toolset, I thought there would be preset jaws you could work with like there are noses, but there weren’t any afaik).  But even aside from the jaw, tips are welcome.

Hmm melfs are a pain.

When you mention other posters could you give an example? So I can actually see what you want to achieve

hmm, I don't have any particular look in mind, but some of the ones I liked -

This blonde one is something I could never have made in the toolset.

This one at the bottom of the post isn't as pretty but also gets rid of that spherical chin you start with in the default male-elf morph in the toolset.

This one is great and just used a concole character creator - but on the PC those slider settings (you can see them if you hit "next" to see the subsequent slides) produce a different outcome - I don't even have that tattoo as one of my options.

thanks

Ok, in toolset measurements

raise the chin and mouth up about +40 ish,

Move the chin in about -15 ish

widen the chin about +30-40 ish

use jaw square shape +30-40 ish

and use a younger looking texture

That'll make the chin look more square
