Ah, Valentines Day is here, commemorating those horribly martyred with chocolate and jewelry.  For those who feel like they themselves are being martyred in the name of Dragon Age and its sometimes buggy ways, here is the latest round-up of recent (and some classic) threads which may help.

Installation Problems/DLC Authorization Issues
A recent, successful installation of DA:O Ultimate Edition:

Issues with 3rd Party Mods Installed:

Even I have played with mods from time to time.  But doing so always brings a risk, and the ONLY way to make sure a mod is not causing your particular performance issues is to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of the game.

As always, these are just a few of the many answers available on the site.  As others have often suggested, a redirected Google search is the best way to seek them out.  Enter this into the Google search bar:

And, of course, please consult the sticky posts at the top of the forum before reporting an issue.

Cheers!

Updated with threads on PhysX installation, more mod wackiness, and some blurry cutscenes. See edits made to the original post. And shout out if anything should be added to the list!

You might want to mention useful compilation mods that address multiple issues that remain unaddressed.  The Rules Fixes mod comes to mind.

I found a pretty common factor for ctd's was having multiple processors on-board a machine. You can customize the affinity via the processes tab of task manager to just use one core for DA:O. While this isn't a direct fix I've found its a pretty bombproof workaround.
