Error message I get is "unable to find a data file or disc has been removed". This occurs soon after instalation process has begun, about 30% into the first disc.

Onboard sound
Discs are in excellent condition. Game instals fine on my desktop.

Sounds like the DVD drive is shot, or has some crap in there covering the lens.
