I only get this in competitive multiplayer games, sometimes.

When it's a single player game completely under your control, I'm not sure how you could feel that way, to be honest.

Stress? Never. The first time I played ME2 I was addicted though for sure. I beat it in like 2 days, didn't bathe.

Stressed? No, But the lack of mainline quests(among other things) was very, very frustrating.

I don't get stressed playing ME2, but I get stressed playing Super Meat Boy. Anyone who knows what it is knows what I'm talking about.

Never had gaming stress, certainly not for Mass Effect. Some games make me swear a bit, but nothing that would make me want to punch a hole in a wall or anything. I find reading some of the moaning on this forum more anger inducing than any game!!

Interesting...I never get stressed out from playing a video game and definetly not when playing Mass Effect. Playing video games help me with stress.

With the first Mass Effect I felt like I can just breathe and let the story unfold slowly but Mass Effect 2 was almost stressful sometimes. So many squadmates to recruit and do stuff for and not enough main quest missions like Horizon and the derelict Reaper. That's the real meat of the game and the part I enjoy playing.

I like ME1 a lot better so far.

Only real strain I got when playing ME2 was the feeling of nausea the first time I started playing it. The game felt foreign to me, even though I started playing immediately after beating ME1.

nope. i don't like certain pre-selected options though.

"Collector's ship?", not really
"Reaper IFF?", not really
"trusting a geth?", not really
"quarians making demands of humans on a human colony?", don't understand that
"quarians hacking mechs on a human colony getting everyone including quarians killed to then make as if the humans are the evil ones for investigating?", plot-hole
"is this truly RPG?", curious

Lol plot hole does your game freeze during the cutscene's.

I only get stressed during the Firewalker missions, and pathetic excuse for side missions that take about a long to load as to complete, because I want them over asap. I could just not do them, but them I would leave something not done....I can never leave anything unfinished. I refuse to even skip scenes or dialogue for any reason.

My first insanity playthrough as a NG+ vanguard stressed me out. Controller got tossed across the room in rage during horizon. I got better.

Aside from that learning curve, ME2 is totally relaxing.

Yeah, I'd switch to decaf.

The reaper IFF mission had a strange effect on a friend of mine. She is playing as an Adept and she is stone cold cool in some of the more intense fire fights, using biotics, ordering squade-mates, ect. However as soon as the Husks start to appear it's like she forgets how to play. She starts to panic, and after 3-4 mission retries, she just started swearing and tried to rip her controller in half! Agile Eclipse mercs flanking with heavy fire and combat drones, no problem. Slow moving, boderline stationary targets, forget about it lol.

I loved all the recruitments and side missions required, but I do agree that ME2 needed more missions actually relating to the Collector Mystery.

Still enjoyed ME2, incredibly. All the side missions didn't stress me out. Felt overwhelmig but didn't mind them. :P
