My niece is 6'2, thats 1'' taller than I am and shes pretty good looking too, I don't find her weird at all.

There are lots of short danes, swedes and norwegians. It's just everyone reaches their potential.

A generation+ ago. The stats are easy to find, but it's also something you can easily see if you travel.
Young americans are the same height as their parents/grandparents. Europeans under 30 are giants compared to the older generations.

6'2-6'5, Anderson is described as 6'5 in one of the books, Shepard's about the same height as him.
