Ok so was gonig to go back to ME1 to play it through again and refresh myself on teh story since it has been a while since I played it last. Was looking at some of the general specs for the different classes and noticed that in the preface to the list it said "all builds are level 60 using the charm/intimidate mulitple play through "glitch"". Now http://masseffect.wi...wiki/Forum:(ME1)_Can_you_fill_up_Charm/Intimidate_without_putting_points_towards_it%3F]here[/url] it says that in the second paragraph (the first paragraph starting at the two indent paragraphs) you have to max out your para and rene each time in order to do this but it also states that
"You get 1 in each after becoming a Spectre, 1 at 10% Paragon/Renegade, 1 at 25%, and 1 at 75%"
So my question is if Im interested in only maxing one or the other do I really need to go through and do the infinite para / rene pts glitches it mentions or can I just play a rene or para character and still get the "free" pts for the appropriate actions I take it talks about?
Question about Charm/Intimidate and multiple play throughs.

You can play naturally and still get the free points. If you go 100% paragon or renegade, you'll be given up to 4 free points by the time the paragon/renegade meter is at 75%.
If you want to max out your charm or intimidate with this method it will take 3 playthroughs. I prefer to put 4 points into either stat and max it after 2 playthroughs, as I don't want to begin a playthrough with a lv 60 character just to get the final 4 "free" points.
