Not really her nose that bothers me. More the fact that she looks like a 15 year old girl. Swear to God, none of my Hawkes are going anywhere near her for fear of the Chantry busting down the doors.

Im just surprised that he modded everyone. He sounded like he really didnt like their vanilla looks.

I think people have been corrupted by Dawson Casting. We're so used to seeing twenty, twenty-five year olds portraying freshman that we forget that's not what freshmen actually look like. She looks like she's in her twenties.

Being a dude, it is easy to extrapolate the fact that I did not watch Dawson's creek. Therefore, the casting had no effect on me. 

Simply put, Merrill doesn't look young because of a decade old show. She looks young because they have intentionally made her look young. Hence, the "virginal girl next door" line. I just don't think they wanted her to look THAT young. 

My Hawkes will stick with the lovely Isabela. Sure, you might catch something due to her rather promiscuous ways, but at least it won't be a cold from the long, sad shower Hawke takes to clean the stain off his soul for deflowering a girl that looks like she just got into highschool.

Being a dude, it is easy to extrapolate the fact that I did not watch Dawson's creek. Therefore, the casting had no effect on me. 

That's more of a trope than anything. They can't find many commited actors at the proper age when it comes to teenagers because they actually still go to school. So for many shows you get people that are much older (in terms of how they look and their actual age) portraying characters that are litrally ten younger than they are (ie a 16 year old fictional character portrayed by someone who is 26, yeah thats real). So don't dismiss it so readily.

And honestly.... this again? When I played origins it was like observing a sex-ed teacher clumsily mash together barbie dolls,  skipped  the scene after seeing it the first time from then on. Well history does repeat itself apparently.

Merrill really does not look as young as most people make her out to be. She looks 20 or older in all the screenshots I've seen, especially the romance screenshot.

I still don't see how some people think Merrill looks like a teenager. She seriously looks to be in her in 20's. Also I know beauty is subjective, but to me being a guy, she looks very pretty and attractive. So I don't understand how some people think shes ugly or looks like one of the blue guys from Avatar. I think she has been criticized unfairly. LIke someone else said before me, I think I need to establish a Merrill defense squad or something.

Dunno why but I LOLed like hell. Fenris is like a "Oh my god too big she is going to strangle me with those, I am f*****", then Hawke like "I KNOW you took that chocolate bar", and Merrill has neck long as she is ostrich.. and dirty leather underwear then - hurrah!



Oh damn.. instead of making topics with weapon screenshots, or landscapes, or anything else, THIS.. people sure do know *what* they want from RPG's of new age!

they need to do what mafia 2 did and for a few bucks give a nudity dlc so the person chooses to enable. So someone of age can buy it. If a kid buys it w'out asking parents its their fault not biowares
