Sorry if this has been on the forums before, but I searched and couldn't find anything. When I try to install Baldurs Gate 1 on my Windows 7 laptop, around 44 or so percent I get this error:
an error occured during the move data process -106
Component: Program Files
File Group: MinimumData
File: Forta.ACM
Does anyone know how I should go about installing Baldur's Gate? I tried Safe Mode and got the same error

Are you running the setup as administrator? (that is right click the autorun.exe I think it is called and click 'Run as Administrator').
It almost sounds like a media problem however. Have you checked your CD-ROM for scratches or fingerprints/dirt? Try cleaning it with a smooth cloth (like a hankerchief) then try again. Needs to be a smooth cloth as a normal cloth like a rag would scratch it. Glass cleaner cloth works too. You could also clean your CD/DVD drive with a drive cleaner CD/DVD (most electronic stores have this), as it may have dirt on the lense.
If there is a big scratch if possible try using that CD/DVD on a different computer to see if that computer has the same problem, which if it does could indicate defective media.

Well it got past that file, then died on the next -.-
I'm pretty sure this disk set is a lost cause, previous owners took terrible care of it, all scratched up and covered in gunk.
