I just started playing ME2 this weekend, and i've encountered a real game-breaking bug at the Prison Ship Purgatory.

First of all, the game freezed almost every time I tryed to open the Processing Room's door.

After i learned about the work around, i managed to succesfully open that door. After that, i defeated the enemies that apeared next, and entered the room with the purgatory security controls, and killed the tech guy that was there.

Then, I use the purgatory security controls and nothig happens. I recieve an update on my journal ( "find jack"), but aside from that, i'm stuck in that room. The door from where i came wont open, and neither will the other one. No cinematics after i use the security controls, either. From what i've read, it was supposed to show Jack getting out of cryo and doing some havoc.

I've searched a lot around the net, but haven't found anyone with a similar problem...

Any help??

I've had that same problem, but not while playing through that particular level. I just reloaded a recent save/restarted the mission, and continued without that problem the second time through.

OK, folks... problem solved.



Just contacted EA support (very helpfull and usefull). Turns out that my game data was corrupted. Had to re-install everything. It didn't fix the freeze, but the glitched room is no more.
