I know but.. Didn't they say when they announced the demo to us that we can't customize our Hawke? But if this is true... Oh man.. I'm getting my hopes up. That rarely ends well. 

Sorry.  Chris Priestly said there's no character creator in the demo.  In the full game you can, but not the demo.

That would be really cool of them if they included it. I have my doubts but it would still be pretty great.

Woops, didn`t know he said that but in the video she did say something about being able to customize her Hawke but she stayed with the default.

One thing I noticed: the game looks quite nice to me on the ps3. Good to know, since that's what I'll be playing it on at first. Obviously, it won't look as good as the PC on the highest settings, but it still looks nice.

Yeah and from what I saw in one of the gameplay previews. The presets look really good. I don't think itl be a headache this time around trying to make a really handsome character.

Woops, didn`t know he said that but in the video she did say something about being able to customize her Hawke but she stayed with the default.

I'm not sure what anything they saw at press events says about the demo; I'm pretty sure Evil Chris said that what they were playing at press events was the then-current build of the full game, rather than a demo version that they could release to us - when people were baying for a demo, ages ago. 

Anywasys, I really hope they changed it and let us work on our Hawke's appearance in the demo too, but... Well, I wasn't really expecting a demo at all, so I'm not going to cry too much if we're stuck with the defaults. As long as we can take the default female Hawke for a spin, I'm OK - I'm not a big fan of the default male look, but the female... well, I suspect I might actually play a default femHawke, though probably not for my first playthrough; I kinda have a thing for redheads, and I've yet to fail to infulge it in any game where I get the chance...

Also, I can't stop thinking it's weird that you have to gain friendship/rivalry with your siblings. I hope at least that you start off with some, to make it a bit more believable.

Mages are awesome, and sibling survival is dependent on what class you start out with. If your a Mage Carver lives. If your a Warrior/Rogue Bethany lives.

Carver is confirmed to start with more rival points. Maybe Bethany starts with more friendship points.

Yeah I have a younger sister, and yeah I know it starts at a early age. But I don't think Bioware is going to set up interactive flashback points at the beginning to determine your standing with your siblings... Though.. That actually sounds like a pretty cool idea.

Well yeah but the game can't exactly predict how your going to react with your siblings at the beginning. Though I'd think the game would start out with a dialogue choice, and what you say to them can count as how you interacted with them in the past or something like that.

Or you can just play pretend and just "say" that you were already rivals/friends with your bro or sis.
