We now know who the director of marketing is.  The guy who's master plan we have been questioning for so long!!!.

And yes, there he goes, trashing game 1 in order to promote game 2.

At this point I think it would be more sensible to wait for the demo and to try and refrain from making such comparisons.

Ya, this whole "DAO was such a crappy game" line they have been using is quite sad. I know that as far as the bottom line goes, a company is going to appeal to a new audience all the time, and even among long-tiem Bioware fans I may be in the minority, I just find it alienating.

I find it annoying as hell.

I've never seen another product which advertises it's new version by trashing the old version.

"Come see the 2011 Audi A8.  It's so much better than the 2010 version.  Which sucked, you know."

"Come visit our new, renovated Caser's Atlantic City.  We got rid of those disgusting carpets everyone hated.  The smell is gone!!"
"Now, the new improved Axe body wash.  Doesn't leave that disgusting residue on you like our old formula did!!!"

Not the best advertisting program, IMO.
