I thought of Grayson myself but the meaning didn't really stick for me. I think I'll go with Nicholas as my first choice since his mother's side of the family is royalty in Kirkwall and noticed the greek influence in their background.

I kind of want to use Eddard, but I don't really like it. Maybe Ned Hawke. But that sounds lame.

My Cousland was named Arya and she's the one I'm importing, but, meh, I might just re-use that name for a female Hawke anyway.

Depends on the options on shaping Hawke's personality.

If he can be the sneak little snitch with shady deals and a steady hand, he'll be called Forrek. If he can be the absent-minded, unpredictable mage, he'll be called Gurumbao. If he will be more of the 'guy of doomsday', he'll be called Dante.

And so on.

I always try to come up with something that at least remotely fits the personality of the give character.
