I have been readin around this thread trying to figure out what everyone is saying, and I noticed the some mentioned that Morigan couldn't be romanced because the conversation didnt allow it and it was never stated that she didn't like women. I believe this is incorrect I believe she has told female wardens that romanced liliana that she found the practice undesirable or something alonng those lines.

Hm...I haven't heard anything about jealousy. Seeing as the game goes over 10 years one would think something like that would be taken care of early. (Though the angst potential for Hawke cheating on an LI for years would be good.)

I know that cultures around the world are at different stages and that society is still having a hard time accepting different sexualties, but really, do we need to think so negatively and make it sound like a witch hunt? However Bioware handles the introduction of exclusively homosexual relationships, if and when they decide to add that to their games, I am sure it will not only be handled well by the company but will be marketed in a way that isn't going to send everyone into an uproar. This is 2011. Besides, the Chantry does not equal any real religious institution no matter anyone thinks.

Considering the church has been demonizing and routing out homosexuality for centuries, it already is a witch hunt. Its just not as active as it used to be. At least not in America. There are places in the world where homosexuality is a crime punishable by death, and this is due to the influence that religion has had on the world, there is no doubt about that.

I don't think writing in homosexual exclusives is a good idea JUST YET, but give it time. Let's go with the "Everyone is bi" route or whatever it should be called, and roll with that now. Later down the road, maybe in DA3, they can have homosexual-exclusives. But its just too soon for that now.

Huh? I don't remember that. 

Heck I remember being amused about what she said with my Male PC who romanced Zev. *checks toolset* 

There is no disgust at the practice. Just at the fact that the PC "loves" Leliana. 
It's pretty much the same for Alistair. 

She finds love undesireable.

Morrigan: Since the last time you and that girl shot glances at each other, in fact. I cannot imagine what you begin to see in her. I hope at least the dalliance is worthwhile? [amused]
PC: I happen to love her, you know. (she says the next sentence no matter what you say it might vary by a line or two bu it'spretty much the same)
Morrigan: Hm. More's the pity for you, then. [rolling her eyes, how boring] 'Tis a bit sickening to watch you two, but I imagine it at least takes your mind from our... situation. Have it your way. [she is teasing]

She says this regardless if the relationship is hetero/homosexual.

Morrigan never talked to me about Leliana... just that I was her sister and stuff, and then, at the end of the game when she was all "I won't always be worthy of your friendship but never doubt that I cherish it" or some sappy-ass bulls**t like that, and I'm tearing up because I was so overcome... and Claudia Black's delivery... oh, my, my favorite scene in the game, because it was so bittersweet. I loved Morrigan. So much.

I loved that part of the game so much. Why could only those who romanced Morrigan go with her through the mirror? My Warden girl wanted to go with her BFF/sis-for-life.

Everyone is bi would be a better option than mods. It is still a little irritating that Alistair calls my elf-warden sometimes 'woman'. I mean, sure, he would look good  in a dress with a little padding, but he should have noticed the difference by now.

I think, that if they don't make all the LIs Bi in the initial game, they should at least make a few DLCs that let you fix that (FREE DLCs, preferrably) something like for example, let's say Merrill's only for males, a DLC like "Merrill Romance Pack: This DLC allows the character Merrill to be romanced by either Hawke" I think that would be nice, it'd probably cost less to make then a full-on DLC, like Witch Hunt, and it let's people who see the all Bi option as "unrealistic" or prefer everyone not to be Bi happy, and the people who want all Bi LIs happy.

I worry about the reception of the DLC, but that's all. If it goes through without issue, I would be okay with this.

O.K., I'll rephrase that, it'll use less resources, they just record a few new lines of dialogue, and a new scene or two. And if they did have to charge for it, it'd most likely be a cheap DLC like 80-160 MS points.

Well if they did something like that i think they would make it "All LI made bi" type thing. I think it would be overall pointless to make only one character bi with a dlc.

Well if they did something like that i think they would make it "All LI made bi" type thing. I think it would be overall pointless to make only one character bi with a dlc.

Figured multiple for dif LIs because some ppl might want one Bi, but not another.
