This is the closest I have ever seen to that.

I adore Fenris' "do not want" hands

I just hope she doesn't mention it in bed. Hawke doesn't want to get performance anxiety from her reminencing.

Not even if she spends the entire evening emasculating the Warden? ;)

NEVER! My Warden was a god in bed! Morrigan said so! (So did Alistair/Zevran/Leliana!)

BLASPHEMY! Don't you dare speak of the Warden's prowess that way you...you...blasphemer! :P

Honestly, I thought Isabela was awesome since her first appearance at the Pearl, and I was super sad that she left port as soon as she was done... teaching my Warden how to duel. ;)  Would have been nice if she stuck around longer. :(

But then again, she's getting fleshed out more in DA:2, so what do I care? xD

The bolded part is the relevant statement to my response. Here's what's happening. You're saying that because Alistair can be hardened, he's a weak character. After all, he is who he is, right? That right there is an instance where in my game, he can be a spineless toad (I never harden him, it feels too mean), but in your game, he might turn into a jackass. But my knowledge that he could turn into a giant douche doesn't lessen the fact that in my game, he isn't one.

The sole difference is that the sexuality change is retroactive. Once you go through the process of wooing the character, it's assumed that they've always swung that way. But if you don't woo him, then he never swung that way, just as Alistair isn't hardened even though I didn't harden him.

The change you are referring to, however, is pretty mild.  Alistair doesn't change into a different person.  Maybe you don't know this if you never harden him- I always do- but he's exactly the same except in regards to the kingship.

This isn't a really good example, though, since I hate the hardening mechanic.  In my view it's cheesy and in Leliana's case, pretty creepy.  My PC should not be able to change the personality of another person.  It doesn't bother me in Alistair's case that much precisely because he doesn't change much, so I always harden him and ignore the game mechanic.

Alright, if you feel the same way about hardening, then I applaud you on being consistent :)

I don't mind being able to change a character's personality, and it seems like that's what the entire "rivalry" idea is based around. I think that's the fundamental difference in our views, and neither of us is likely to change the other's mind. Unless we decide to choose all the "rival" dialogue options

Hey she left so she could be with Hawke. That's a good cause no?

 Indeed be grateful she didn't follow the Warden around or she would've fell in love with him/her and vanished mysteriously with them! (god I hate that whole vanishing thing) :pinched:

Oh god I can just see Isabella's comments now in regards to cousin Amell..

"Oh, was that it? You know, your cousin was a lot better. And I'm not easily satisfied"

*Morrigan and leliana jump in through the walls. give thumbs up and wide open smile* Oh we'll agree to that!

Oh Morrigan can disapprove all she wants like she always does. She'd still do that. That'd be the one time she gets all happy and jumpy.

Also their low fertility rate. Why is it I can imagine some Warden's making good use of that? xD

That last bit didn't work out so well for many of my female Wardens. :(

Think of it as inspiration.

A woman telling you just what she's willing and ready to do can be all sorts of hawt.

So... you wanted children? Or, oops you're preggers anyway? I certainly don't remember that scenario

I think those are the familiar sound of "Alistair doesn't want me because I can't have a baby" tears, that for some reason, only applied to non-humans.

Sure, that's all well and good. But what's not all sorts of hawt is a woman telling me just what some other skank actually did do to her <_<

True.

But Gaider pretty much said non-existant unless my FemWarden (with Alistair at least) found the magical amulet of fertility. Which may or may not exist.

Alistair and FemWarden being king/queen. One would usualy want children in that situation.
