Well many people engage in them 100% of the time, so it does effect them.

i see you point but  form what i can tell its a deal braker for most people when it comes to buying the game and i think its  Redonkulous i don't have any thing agiest gay people but its a game

Osena, you are missing the point. The point being that dozens, hundreds even, of other things in the media feature and celebrate straight couples but there's barely a handful that celebrates gay or lesbian couples without them dying, turning straight or some other major tragedy.



The reason we got so 'hot under the collar' is because we're sorely under-represented and it gets annoying and upsetting to see that your own preferences are rarely if ever acknowledged. Bioware is, as far as I'm aware, the only major RPG creators that allow for gay relationships and that's great. But it was also a big worry for some of us because of the media backlash and that they wouldn't do it anymore.



Straight romances never get this sort of negative attention, they hardly if ever get flamed just because they are straight and we still typically only get one M/M or F/F choice as compared to the usual 2 options of M/F characters.

How the sentence can be logically interpreted is that there are options for all genders and orientations, and those options can be other than "followers".

It does not say there is for 100% sure all options served by "followers", and I don't begin to speculate what they meant when they wrote that.

I see I did not mean to offend any one  but i was being honest  but i  do understand your plight oh i have been flamed for dateing a girl that was out of my class and social standing

It didn't say anything at all about the achievement. It said that you can romance almost anyone in your party (4/6), and that those romances are "unconstrained." you can romance men, women, and people possessed by a spirit of vengeance. I'm not sure how it can be any more unambiguous. I'm not saying that that review is written by the devs and that it equals dev confirmation. What I'm saying is that in context, I can't imagine actual dev confirmation could be any more clear.

I would lol if Anders would be straight romance for females and Vengeance would be straight romance for gay women.
