DOn't think on it too much.  It's probably one of those review quotes where they extrapolate and exaggerate and say something that means nothing to everyone but us and then we freak out.  Happened quite a bit with ME2.

I think DA:O's precedent has set a pretty good chance.  Besides, devs HAVE confirmed there will be s/s among party.  And Isabella's character lends herself far too well to F/F option, she is bi in Origins.  I think(can't wuite remember) devs might have even confirmed Isabella as s/s.

Anders story was very good, well done whoever wrote it. I like to think that they all sat down to discucc which awakening character they should bring back for DA2 and decideed "feck it lets bring back two in one "

These are fantastic. I didn't think I could be any more excited, but here I am!

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the bi male LI being Anders. The parallels between Zevran and Fenris are just too much for comfort, even if I adored Zevran. I'm kind of anxious about it, honestly. Of course, I'd be happy beyond words if they were all bi, and while I'll entertain that fantasy in my head, I'm also trying to stay realistic.

Anyway, I don't begrudge the devs for keeping us in the dark, and I'm giving their intentions the benefit of all my doubts.

Gaider already confirmed there is m/m, straight up. And if you don't think Isabella is going to be one, what with her openly flirting with LadyHawke right after she joins your party, you are like ... the biggest pessimist ever. 

Look, I know ME is terrible in this regard, and it bugs me too, but you really shouldn't hold it against the DA team. They've done nothing to deserve it.

Indeed, the DA devs in general have a much better track record than the ME team.  ME has only ever had F/F, and one of those was with a monogendered alien and the other was throwaway.  DA:O had straight up human(well, elf, but essentially human) F/F and M/M fully fleshed out romances.

Thanks as always Bioware and Happy Valentine's everyone. Loved the stories, particularly Merrill's. Looks like my fHawke is going for Isabella and mHawke is going for Merrill.

Epic fail. WORST Valentines day ever. Whose bright idea was it to make Merril a romance over Aveline? Seriously? Here's an idea, why not just allow players to romance ANYONE in the party. That'd be much more realistic. Personally, I liked Mass Effects approach. The "If she is a woman, you can tap that!" approach is always much better.

Man, I hope so. Anders and Fenris are both way, way too issue-laden for my personal tastes. And I DID like Zevran, who also had a ton of issues. But Anders and Fenris are like ... turned up to 11.

I'm sure I'll do a ton of playthroughs and I'm sure I'll romance everyone on the way, and I hope I am pleasantly surprised, but man!
