No it's not! Ali was pretty normal minus the prince and "I want to behead Loghain!" thing.
You can't just take away the abnormal elements and call it normal dear. That's cheating.

Alas. The closest to normal companions we get we can't romance.![]()

I think once you start a serious talk about romance between siblings, all claims to "normal" are tossed out the window.

Bah I say.
Though really I wish Carver was just a friend or something. Or adopted.
I wanna romance him.

Also cheating. That's throwing out the only thing that would make such a romance interesting

Play like a certain forumite and pretend that since the game doesn't explicitly say he's not adopted, the possibility remains that he is.

O-ho! I didn't think of that!

Not necessarily. He could have issues with Hawke being the "real" son while he was just adopted. And he could not know he was adopted and so on.

Generic angst is boring angst. "I'm adopted" vs. "I'm in love with my sister." Not really a comparison. For what it's worth, I was in love with Imoen before I found out she was my sister.

I think Carver has enough issues with Hawke as it is. Don't you think you're adding a bit much for dear carver to handle?

Or there could be Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA). There's a whole wikipedia article on it D: Ok, I'm done, I promise. I'm going to blame yaoi entirely for revolutionizing my ideas on brotherly love.

...Eh "I'm in love with my brother." can be pretty generic too. Though I consider the "I'm in love with my brother." is a bit more interesting.

Once my Hawke gets his hands on Carver's belt then there will be too much for Carver to handle.
Plus the whole "we're running from your bloody templars." ah the perfect rivalrymance indeed.

*hesitates*
I want to know about Carver's personality before writing him. I'm going to have sexy hateful incest sex it should at last be somewhat in character.

Who says it doesn't? Varric doesn't know everything Hawke does.

Well if someone uses it as a sig let me put some corrections in that.

I'm tempted to sig that myself.

For what it's worth, If I hadn't just made the sexy killzone 3 banner I would've done it.

I don't know why my medium sized Persona 3 "Burn my Dread" siggy shrunk. It was a bit saddening.
Though thanks. Luckily since I'm planing on playing a mage (which are really fun this time around) I'll probably have Carver with me most of the time. So that fic will probably be done before I'm halfway finished with the game.
