I have no idea why you think this would happen. It makes less sense than the 'they're all bi' crowd*.Liliandra Nadiar wrote...
Though I also wouldn't put it past BW to make Isabela 'straight' for DA2.
Maria, do you really fail to understand why s/s fans feel cautious after the abomination that was ME2?
Having played the demo, it feels like DA2 is taking its cues from that game, not Origins.
Sure, we flirted with Isabela but is it a full romance? Will FemShep get kissing scenes like ManShep gets?
WHY didn't the devs just tell us which were s/s options?
I'm not saying 'the sky is falling'. But I think I have reasons to feel cautious until everything is confirmed, one way or another.
Also Maria - assuming you think there will be bi options, who do you think they are? Everyone pretty much thinks Isabela/Fenris, but I can't see them repeating the 'gay elf' thing again.
To be fair to bioware they wouldnt be repeating the gay elgf thiing. i mean sure both ar elves and bi. But the characters are soooo different. ie Zevran= sex made lunatic that scared the hell outta everyone not ino him by being too full on, and Fenris is very relutasnt from what we know and far more serious. Just saying even though he may be the bi LI he would be a different experience.
However, as my preference: Anders! hes so funny and far more bareable now he has a darker side to balance him out

Out of interest, has it been confirmed whether there will be a friendship and rivalry romance with all four of them?
Pretty much confirmed, yes.

Hopefully I can kill Anders off later in game. He was cringeworthy in DA:A. Everything else looks great so far though!
You may end up liking the "new" Anders.

She could be attractive with a reasonable outfit. As it is, she looks sloppy and way too "busy." She would look a lot sexier with a sleeker outfit, and a smaller amulet tucked into the enormous knockers rather than the Mr. T necklace.sevalaricgirl wrote...
Yup, definitely not straight. I'd do Cassandra before I'd do Isabela, lol. I'm straight but I can't see how anyone can find Isabela attractive.

But the other outfit wouldn't be Isabela. And she looks plenty sexy to me but then again personal preference.
I did like her duster leathers from DAO.
But I like the new 'bling' outfit too. They're evidently playing up the 'pirate wench' thing now.
Not too pleased with the demo combat, but I really did like the designs for the characters (FemShep, Bethany, Aveline, Flemeth, Isabela, Varric).

On anyone else, I would probably hate it. Since it's Isabela and she owns every single slur you can throw her way, it feels completely right.

I think a pair of trousers would be enough to make her more attractive. Although I like her as she is.

I'm looking forward to the mod that lets me tone that down. I feel inferior just playing the game. (J/K... well, sorta...)

To each her own, it doesn't work for me at all... not sexy, ridiculous all around. The female pirate meme could have been pulled off much better IMO.SurelyForth wrote...
I like Isabela's get up because it works for her character. There's the pirate aspect and the sex bomb posturing and then there's the so ****ing ridiculous and distractingly excessive pantlessness/Mr. T jewelry that means nobody takes her seriously until she's got a knife at their throat.
On anyone else, I would probably hate it. Since it's Isabela and she owns every single slur you can throw her way, it feels completely right.
I keep coming back to this, I think it's the epitome of a female game model that I've seen, but something like this with some gold jewelry and a low neckline and the headscarf would have been perfect.

Why not take them as individuals? I am obviously missing something because I fancy looking how women look different noticing their clothes and other detail like make-up if any, hair, fang paint colour, fang shape, eyes, posture, body shape, voice, movements and what not. So I like diversity, and even though I like to see women reveal their womanly beaty I don't want everyone doing it and decreasing diversity. Maybe. I am not sure of that though. I would have to see how it is in practise.
Lol I don't know what was the point but since I wrote this I can as well send this. Will have to install Witcher next.

I haven't seen enough of her to make a proper judgement on how well she's written or her personality, but I like her voice well enough, and think she is physically attractive.

This is pretty much spot on. Morrigan and Alistair were the first two characters you encounter, the most important to the plot and consequently they must be straight. I don't think Bioware would want to drive away players by creating a bi character that was important to the story. We already know Merril is important to the plot and is the straight only love interest. So the bi male love interest is definitely the male companion who has the least relevance to the central plot.

I...*tries to think of a bi male LI who was first* ...damn. Not a one. Even Sky was met after you meet Zu. >_> Though he isn't skippable you can kill him later on (if you're being an evil douche and not romancing him), Zevran was killable/skippable. Huh.
Though for the record I'm pretty sure you meet Varric before you met Anders.
