Is anybody quietly watching the madness going on in the Fenris thread now that it's rumored he was previously married / is possibly still married / how would he know with the memory-loss? Eugh.  I thought we Anderomancers had it rough with the whole 'cannibalism' thing, but Fenris being possibly still married? That's tough.

EDIT: And confirmed to be untrue. Dodged a bullet that time!

Although, I gotta say: fangirls get vicious when another woman threatens to interrupt their romantic fantasies about a character.  Taking note.

There's been a lot of speculation as to whom the bi options are for romances in DA2.  I think there are three approaches to this.

1-MMO/fantasy/rpg law- The elf is always gay...<G>!

2-Bioware, always giving us a new spin on things is aware of the first rule....and goes the opposite direction (especially since they took so much flack for the gay elf in DA:O).

3-There was quite bit of resentment from some of the gay players that straight players had two romance options while gay players only had one, so they opened the playing field and everyone is fair game (this is actually the theory I'm betting on).  I'm pretty sure this is true for the women anyway, because one choice is an elf (see rule number one) and the other choice is Isabella (and ya can just kinda tell she'll sleep with just about anyone....lol).

That's my two cents!

You'll just get some bland NPC who'll strip for you near end game.

nah she was too awesome to be mentioned. Her Welsh accent is just too badass for this thread's posters. we're already up to the top with badassery from all the other companions, if we talk about Merrill our heads will explode.

Honestly, the ONLY thing I'm hoping right now is that there are no 'gender-favorite' bi romances, and by that, what I mean to say is that I hope we don't get a scenario like the following:

"If you play a lady!Hawke, you can romance Isabela AND Merrill!  Isn't that great?  Um, but sadly, if your Hawke is a dude, he only get's this guy!"

Or:

"Good news, gang!  Fenris and Anders are both open to a male!Hawke romances!  Unfortunately, since not enough ladies play our games, they can only romance this one chick."

That would sadden me.   But somehow, I doubt this will happen.  It sounds like completely irrational fear, even inside my head.

So I'm going to ignore it in favor of spreading the word that all of the romances are bi.
